Congratulations to Randy and Joni Cody of 1511 E. Third St. They are the proud recipients of the Yard of the Month Award for June. Randy enjoys planting old fashioned perennials such as hollyhocks, foxglove, roses, gladiolus and bell flowers. You’ll also see a different color theme each year in his front yard showcasing a variety of petunias, begonias and impatiens. 

Congratulations to the Salem Public Library for being selected as the Business of the Month for June. Brad Stephens, Library Director, was honored to accept the award stating, “The Salem Library is proud to be a part of this town and enjoys providing an inviting location for all ages to enjoy.” Pictured with Stephens is Head of Maintenance, Chad Talbert, who oversees the extensive landscape that includes new rock features, colorful annuals and perennials and flowering shrubs.
