All Saints' Rummage Sale - SAVE THE DATE!

The ‘almost-annual’ All Saints' Rummage Sale will be held on Friday and Saturday, August 13 and 14. All parishioners are encouraged to bring gently used and working items to sell. Donations can be brought to the church beginning at noon on Wednesday, August 11 to Sutherland Hall to be sorted and priced. We will need help with set up, sales the day of the sale, and cleanup afterwards. If you have large items that need to be picked up or stored ahead of these dates, contact Sherrie Cotton at 479-747-6591 or the church office.
Neighbors Table Matching Grant Fundraiser: We Met Our Goal!

An anonymous donor offered to match up to $5,000 of funds raised by All Saints’ for Neighbors Table. We are happy to report that we have raised $6093.75 against our donor’s pledged gift. Thank you so much!

Right now, Neighbors Table is consistently serving 200 meals every Saturday to our guests. This spring we lost the support of one of our food banks that provided fresh vegetables used in preparing our meals. While Neighbors Table is close to completing arrangements to join another regional food bank, the demand for meals from the community and the increased expense of providing those meals strained Neighbors
Table resources. Your gifts and our generous donors’ matching gift will go far in letting us continue to feed hungry people among us.

If you would like to support the Neighbor Table matching grant campaign, donations can be made directly on the All Saints' website: http://allsaintsrussellville.org. Click on ‘Give’ and contribute to ‘Food Ministries’. You can also write a check and note in the memo line ‘Food Ministries’.

Fellowship of the Sink

As we cautiously return to in-person worship and fellowship gatherings, we are starting to plan for upcoming events. The Fellowship of the Sink will meet immediately following the June 13th 10:30 service in Shoemaker Hall to plan events for the remainder of the summer. If you would like to join this lively group of volunteers, please join us!!

Volunteers are needed as well! Volunteers can help for one day, two days or all three days. Please contact Melissa Simpson if you're interested at 479-280-9551. Volunteers can be our youth or adults.

Neighbors Table June 12

Neighbors Table Report
Last Saturday 111 families were served a “picnic” menu that included smoked pork loin sandwiches, baked beans, slaw and pound cake and fresh fruit—the meal was provided and served by our long-term Neighbors Table partner church, New rospect Baptist. This week we’ll offer a beef and tomato enchilada casserole.

NT will now be operating in compliance with new Arkansas State laws regulating all groups who prepare and provide food to the public (previously these state requirements did not apply to us because our meal is free.) Carol Lee arranged for an instructor from the Arkansas Hunger
Alliance who presented on June 1 an 8 hour training for the SERVSAFE certification program now required for all food managers; 17 attended, with representatives from The Seventh Day Adventist Church and the Camp Mitchell Board joining 13 NT workers. Another training will be
offered in coming weeks; please contact Carol (479 264-8018) if you would like to attend.

As always, your input and help with this ministry is invited. Call or text Carolyn McLellan at 479 264-5969 to learn more.
The Loaves and Fishes Cupboard is Bare!

Loaves and Fishes, a part of the Neighbors Table ministry, needs to restock its bare cupboard.

Here are items needed now for our guests:

Cereal and oatmeal
Small containers of shelf stable milk
Wrapped packages of peanut butter crackers, cookies, granola bars, etc.
Feminine hygiene products – pads and tampons
Bath soap
Shampoo
Toothpaste and floss
Dish detergent
Baby wipes
Children’s and adult socks
Adult underwear – men’s medium and women’s large

Neighbors Table asks that you bring your donations to All Saints’ Episcopal Church on Saturdays between 9:00 AM and 12:30 PM. Please place your gifts in the Loaves and Fishes Wagon at the door outside Sutherland Hall. Also, you can place your donations on Sundays in the wagon that will be in the narthex. As a reminder, you can support Neighbors Table with a donation to Food Ministries in the Giving tab at the All Saints’ webpage.

Evening Prayer

Evening Prayer from Wednesday June 9 with Melissa Simpson. If you'd like to be a reader for Evening Prayer please let Melissa know as we have training coming up on June 23 at 5 p.m. with Rev. Teri.

Please celebrate the following birthdays this week with us: Eva Cole, Tracy Cole, Teri Daily, Travis Simpson, and Kaylynn Taylor.
O God, our times are in your hand: Look with favor, we pray, on
your servants as they begin another year. Grant that they may grow
in wisdom and grace, and strengthen their trust in your goodness
all the days of their lives; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

For those celebrating an anniversary this week: Jon and Pam Lundquist.

O gracious and everliving God, look mercifully upon your servants who come to renew the promises they have made to each other. Grant them your blessing, and assist them with your grace, that with true fidelity and steadfast love they may honor and keep their promises and vows; through Jesus Christ our Savior, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Please let the office know if your birthday or anniversary has been missed, so that we may add the date to our records.

Giving at All Saints'

During this time of social distancing and staying home, it is important that we are still able to support our parish and our community through our financial gifts. Contributions may be mailed to the church office or to give online, go to allsaintsrussellville.org and click on GIVE located on the bottom of the web page. You can designate your donation toward a specific ministry or our general fund.
