At first look, a rock wall can seem intimidating! Its looming height can cause some hesitation among future climbers. However, the physical and mental benefits of rock climbing far outweigh any initial apprehension. In the 2020 Summer Olympics, competitive sport climbing made its debut. This event included speed climbing, bouldering and lead climbing, which captivated a new and now growing audience around the world.

Rock Climbing Classes

Master your climbing skills with the SRWC's Rock Climbing Classes! Choose from different levels of classes and make your way to the top. Spaces fill up fast, so come early and get prepped to learn! Are you a pro looking for challenge? Custom/advanced classes are available upon request for $17 per student or $22 per non-student. The sky is the limit!

Safety Certifications

The American Heart Association offers programs like Basic Life Support and Heart Saver in the SRWC to help save lives! both of these programs include First Aid, AED and CPR. Visit Basic Life Support April 26 1:30 to 5 p.m. and Heart Saver March 22 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Lifeguard certification is also offered by American Red Cross April 13 and 14. Learn how to ensure safety for yourself and others 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.!
