Town Hall Reopening: Monday May 3, 2021

Due to precautions designed to limit the transmission of COVID-19 Maggie Valley Town Hall was closed to the public on March 17, 2020. For over a year Town Staff has been committed to providing quality customer service while adapting to new challenges associated with this public health emergency.

As Town Hall reopens we remind everyone of the three W's:
  • Wear A Mask- properly worn masks are required to be worn inside the building at all times;
  • Wait - Make sure when you are waiting for service at the front window to wait 6 feet apart
  • Wash- Please take advantage of our hand sanitizer stations located throughout the building

Maggie Valley Town Hall will reopen to the public on Monday May 3, 2021 at 8:00 A.M.

In addition to Town Hall reopening to the public so will the Maggie Valley Pavilion. The Town started taking rental reservations for this popular facility on April 15. Mass gathering events smaller than 100 people with the "doors open" and smaller than 50 people with the "doors closed" are now allowed. Call 828.926.0866 to inquire about renting the Pavilion for your next event.
Curbside Brush Service
One of the Town's most popular services is our Curbside Yard Collection provided by the Public Works Department.

This call in service works most efficiently and effectively when residents create a work order for their brush by Phone, Email or App.

Placing your brush on the curb without notifying the Town of your curbside yard waste needs, may delay the deployment of the "Yard Waste Truck" to your neighborhood. For example last week a neighborhood generated 8 brush tickets; when Public Works arrived they found 60 homes needing service. Knowing this difference in advance would have led to the deployment of a different crew and equipment so the yard waste could have been picked up more quickly.

Please help continue to make this curbside service high performing by creating a pick up work order by Phone- Email or App.
