Dr. Loyd Potter, Texas State Demographer, will be guest speaker on Friday to discuss the upcoming census data and the subsequent redistricting debate. It is now almost inevitable that the data needed for our state to be redistricted won't be delivered for several more months meaning there will be a special session on redistricting in the fall.

The Governor shared very important information about Election Integrity and answered some of your questions. Senator Hughes gave an update on the legislative session in the Senate. In Best Off-Year March Haul Yet, RNC Brings in $17.8 Million in March, Capping $44.4 Million Quarter |

WASHINGTON – Today, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel announced a massive $17.8 million raised in March, the best-ever off-cycle haul in RNC history, capping off a $44.4 million first quarter.
"Every dollar we raise is a stand against Biden and Congressional Democrats’ serial record of failure in office,” said RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel. “Our supporters' generous contributions allow us to pursue our mission, which includes promoting an America-first agenda, fighting relentlessly to preserve the integrity of our elections, and holding big tech accountable for their daily attacks on First Amendment rights. We look forward to repaying our supporters' investment when we retake the House and Senate in 2022 and make Joe Biden's presidency an unremarkable footnote when we beat him in 2024."

- This is the RNC’s best off-cycle March haul and the third best March haul ever – ranking only behind two presidential year March totals — and the best post-presidential first quarter on record.
- A staggering 84 percent of contributions in March came from small-dollar donors, signaling strong grassroots support for the Republican agenda and a marked rejection of Joe Biden and Democrats’ failed policies and failed leadership.
- This was the most successful first quarter for the RNC’s digital fundraising in a non-election year, raising 160% more and bringing in twice the amount of contributions than the first quarter of 2019.
- With zero debt, this massive first-quarter success signals strong support for Republicans as we continue to bring our winning message to voters across the country and expose Joe Biden and Democrats’ failure to deliver for all Americans.

Joe Biden’s Border Crisis
While a humanitarian and national security crisis continues to worsen on our southern border, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and their Democrat allies are nowhere to be found – it’s a complete failure of leadership.
What you need to know:
The bottom line:
The radical policies of the Biden-Harris Administration are directly to blame for the crisis on the southern border. Migrants themselves have cited Democrat policies for why they decided to illegally cross the border – many have even worn Biden t-shirts on their journey. Instead of taking action to end the crisis they created, Biden and Harris are frozen in denial.
What we are reading:
Democrats Latest Power Grab: Court Packing
House and Senate Democrats have introduced legislation to add four new justices to the U.S. Supreme Court. This purely political move is the Democrats’ latest power grab – it would erode trust and fundamentally damage the non-partisan institution.
What you need to know:
- For the last 152 years, nine Justices have sat on the U.S. Supreme Court. Now, House and Senate Democrats are abandoning precedent and proposing legislation that would radically expand the Supreme Court.
- With this legislation, Democrats are threatening judicial independence and attempting to tip the court in their favor.

A study released late last year showed the idea is widely unpopular; 54% of Americans oppose increasing the number of Supreme Court Justices.
The bottom line:
Democrats have been in power for less than six months, and we have already seen many attempted power grabs including the radical H.R. 1, calls to abolish the filibuster, and now this court packing scheme.
