A Message From Our President, Judy Wexler
I am happy to say that this past school year is almost behind us, and we are heading toward a brighter summer! We hope you and your families are healthy, and found some quality time to be outside this spring and just breathe in the fresh air to clear your minds. As you know, we couldn’t have our in-person after school running programs this spring, but instead offered our free iRun4Life Fitness App. This awesome free App includes warm up, running and cool down videos, as well as fun, kid friendly yoga and dance videos and healthy recipes for snacks, meals and desserts. We hope you are taking advantage of this App, and are using it to help train for the 11th annual iRun4Life Kids Only 3K Race presented by Bucks County Orthodontics on September 19 at Doylestown Central Park.
We moved our 3K Race to September this year because of the pandemic, and availability of vaccines. We are currently planning the 3K and have some exciting new changes. First, we have a new race route on the paths within Central Park. You can see your children run and cheer them on. Second, Keith & Joey Band will be playing music for us and inspiring our runners. They have been giving free concerts all throughout the pandemic in many locations around town to help cheer people up, and we think they are incredible!
It’s been a very long year for our children, and our 3K Race is a day to celebrate them and all their accomplishments. We hope you will join us!
