ԺԱ. ԿԻՐԱԿԻ ԽԱՉՎԵՐԱՑԷՆ ԵՏՔ
The Epistle of St Paul to the Philippians 4:8-24
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
I rejoiced greatly in the Lord that at last you renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you were concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it. I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
Yet it was good of you to share in my troubles. Moreover, as you Philippians know, in the early days of your acquaintance with the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia, not one church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you only; for even when I was in Thessalonica, you sent me aid more than once when I was in need. Not that I desire your gifts; what I desire is that more be credited to your account. I have received full payment and have more than enough. I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. To our God and Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Greet all God’s people in Christ Jesus. The brothers and sisters who are with me send greetings. All God’s people here send you greetings, especially those who belong to Caesar’s household. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
ՊՕՂՈՍ ԱՌԱՔԵԱԼԻ ԱՌԱՋԻՆ ՆԱՄԱԿԷՆ ՓԻԼԻՊՊԵՑԻՆԵՐՈՒՆ 4:8-24
Ի վերջոյ, եղբայրնե՛ր, խորհեցէք այն բաները՝ որոնք ճշմարիտ են, պարկեշտ, արդար, մաքուր, սիրելի, բարեհամբաւ, առաքինի եւ գովելի: Եւ գործքո՛վ կատարեցէք այն՝ ինչ որ ինձմէ սորվեցաք եւ ընդունեցիք, ինձմէ լսեցիք եւ իմ վրաս տեսաք. եւ Աստուած, որ խաղաղութիւն կու տայ, ձեզի հետ պիտի ըլլայ:
Մեծապէս ուրախացայ Տիրոջմով, որ վերջապէս ձեր միտքը ինկայ եւ ինձմով հետաքրքրուեցաք: Գիտեմ որ նախապէս ալ կը հետաքրքրուէիք ինձմով, բայց զայն արտայայտելու առիթը չունէիք: Ըսել չե՛մ ուզեր թէ բանի մը կարօտ եմ, որովհետեւ ես ունեցածովս գոհ ըլլալու վարժուած եմ: Չքաւորութիւն ալ ճանչցայ, առատութիւն ալ տեսայ: Վարժուեցայ ամէն տեսակի կացութիւններու եւ պայմաններու. թէ՛ կուշտ ըլլալու եւ թէ՛ անօթի մնալու, թէ՛ առատութեան եւ թէ՛ չքաւորութեան: Ամէն ինչ կրնամ տանիլ շնորհիւ Քրիստոսի, որ զիս զօրացուց: Բայց լաւ ըրիք որ ինծի օգնեցիք նեղութեանս մէջ: Դո՛ւք ալ գիտէք, ո՜վ Փիլիպպեցիներ, թէ սկիզբը երբ ես Մակեդոնիա եկայ Աւետարանը քարոզելու, ձեզմէ զատ ուրիշ ոեւէ եկեղեցի չմտածեց իր ստացած հոգեւոր բարիքներուն փոխարէն նիւթապէս ինծի օգնելու մասին. մինչ դուք մէկերկու անգամ մինչեւ իսկ Թեսաղոնիկէ ղրկեցիք ինչ որ ինծի պէտք էր: Ո՛չ թէ ձեր տուածին մասին կը մտածեմ, այլ այն վարձատրութեան՝ որ ձեր հաշւոյն պիտի աւելնայ: Որովհետեւ ես ամէն ինչ ունիմ եւ աւելիով ունիմ, եւ Եպաֆրոդիտոսի ձեռքով ստացայ ձեր առատ նուէրները, որոնք ոեւէ խունկէ աւելի անուշահոտ եւ ոեւէ զոհէ աւելի ընդունելի են Աստուծոյ, իր կամքին համաձայն ըլլալով: Թող ամենառատն Աստուած ի՛նք փառաւորապէս հոգայ ձեր բոլոր պէտքերը, Քրիստոս Յիսուսի ձեռքով: Յաւիտեանս յաւիտենից փա՜ռք Աստուծոյ՝ մեր Հօրը: Ամէն:
Ողջոյն տուէք Քրիստոս Յիսուսի միացած բոլոր հաւատացեալներուն: Իմ հետս եղող եղբայրները կը բարեւեն ձեզ: Ձեզ կը բարեւեն նաեւ այստեղի բոլոր հաւատացեալները, մանաւանդ կայսրին ծառայութեան մէջ եղողները:
Տէր Յիսուս Քրիստոս իր շնորհքը պարգեւէ ձեր բոլորին: Ամէն:
The Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ According to Luke 11:1-13
Jesus’ Teaching on Prayer:
One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When He finished, one of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.” He said to them, “When you pray, say: “‘Father, hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread. Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation.’”
Then Jesus said to them, “Suppose you have a friend, and you go to him at midnight and say, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves of bread; a friend of mine on a journey has come to me, and I have no food to offer him.’ And suppose the one inside answers, ‘Don’t bother me. The door is already locked, and my children and I are in bed. I can’t get up and give you anything.’ I tell you, even though he will not get up and give you the bread because of friendship, yet because of your shameless audacity he will surely get up and give you as much as you need.
“So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. “Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”
ՅԻՍՈՒՍ ՔՐԻՍՏՈՍԻ ԱՒԵՏԱՐԱՆԸ ԸՍՏ ՂՈՒԿԱՍԻ 11:1-13
Պատահեցաւ որ Յիսուս տեղ մը կ’աղօթէր: Երբ աղօթելը վերջացուց, իր աշակերտներէն մէկը ըսաւ.
– Տէ՛ր, մեզի աղօթել սորվեցուր, ինչպէս որ Յովհաննէս Մկրտիչ իր աշակերտներուն սորվեցուց:
Յիսուս ըսաւ.
– Երբ կ’աղօթէք, ըսէք.
«Հա՜յր մեր, սրբաբանուի՛ անունդ.
թող գայ արքայութիւնդ:
Ամենօրեայ մեր հացը շնորհէ՛ մեզի օրէ օր:
Եւ ներէ՛ մեր մեղքերը, քանի մենք ալ կը ներենք
անոնց՝ որոնք մեզի դէմ նոյնպէս յանցանք գործած են:
Եւ թոյլ մի՛ տար որ փորձութեան մէջ իյնանք»:
Եւ ապա շարունակեց.- Ենթադրենք որ ձեզմէ մէկը բարեկամ մը ունի, որուն կը դիմէ գիշեր ատեն եւ կ’ըսէ. «Բարեկա՛մ, ինծի երեք հաց փոխ տուր, որովհետեւ ճամբորդ բարեկամ մը տունս իջեւանեցաւ եւ ես հրամցնելիք բան չունիմ»: Անիկա ներսէն կը պատասխանէ, ըսելով. «Մի՛ յոգնեցներ զիս. դռները արդէն իսկ գոցած եմ եւ փոքրիկներս քովս անկողինին մէջ են. հետեւաբար չեմ կրնար ելլել տալ քեզի»: Վստահ եղէք, որ նոյնիսկ եթէ բարեկամութեան սիրոյն չելլէ եւ անոր ուզածը չտայ, սակայն անոր թախանձանքներուն տեղի տալով՝ պիտի կատարէ անոր խնդրանքը: Ես ալ ձեզի կ’ըսեմ.- Խնդրեցէ՛ք Աստուծմէ եւ պիտի տայ ձեզի, փնտռեցէ՛ք եւ պիտի գտնէք, բաղխեցէ՛ք եւ պիտի բացուի ձեզի: Որովհետեւ խնդրողը կը ստանայ, փնտռողը կը գտնէ եւ բաղխողին առջեւ դուռը պիտի բացուի: Ձեր մէջ կա՞յ հայր մը, որուն զաւակը ձուկ ուզէ եւ ինք ձուկին փոխարէն օձ տայ անոր, եւ կամ կարիճ տայ՝ երբ զաւակը հաւկիթ խնդրէ: Արդ, եթէ դուք որ չար էք՝ գիտէք ձեր զաւակներուն լաւ պարգեւներ տալ, ձեր երկնաւոր Հայրը որքա՜ն աւելի լաւ պարգեւ մը՝ Սուրբ Հոգին պիտի տայ անոնց, որոնք իրեն կը դիմեն:
