Dear ECNV Consumers and Families,
Can you believe it's the giving season already? Well, the little ECNV Elves are at it again. Welcome to our 2nd Annual Holiday Elf Program (formerly Dear ECNV Santa).
We want to spread some holiday cheer again this year, just like last year and this week seems the perfect time to get started. With that in mind, we know so many could use a little help. Last year, through the generosity of staff, board members and so many more, we were able to do more than we thought, helping several families with their Holiday wish list and needs. This year, now until Friday, December 10, we welcome a Dear ECNV Holiday Elf letters from you or someone you know. Please tell us about something you need or something that would be important to you to have this giving season. Please share your story with us via email ONLY, and don't hesitate just to put it all out there. Please help us make a difference, small or large, in the life of someone, or yourself. Don't hesitate to include specific details that will help us understand just a little bit about how such a gift will help you and share whatever you feel is necessary.
We certainly wish that we could assist everyone with every need; however, we will be choosing a small number of folks based on the generous donations received for this special program.
Please note just a few rules for the Dear ECNV Holiday Elf Potential Recipients, this year:
1. The recipient must be an ECNV Consumer currently living in our serving area, including Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax, and Loudoun Counties, and the cities of Alexandria, Fairfax, and Falls
Church.
2.The recipient must have a diagnosed disability and self-identify
3. Recipients can be individual consumers or the consumer and his/her family currently being served by ECNV through any of our programs and services
4. The gift should benefit the individual consumer or the family unit of one household
5. While there is no restriction on what you can write us to for, keep in mind there is limited funding, and we will also consider the time, money, and resources required to meet the requests and ensure that we can make it happen.
While you are not required or obligated to do so, if you are a recipient, we'd love to feature you in our newsletter and on our website. Again, however, this is NOT a requirement. Please email your letter to info@ecnv.org and put in the subject line: DEAR ECNV HOLIDAY ELF 2021. Don't forget to include your name, phone number, and address in the email. Anyone who does not include their information risks their letter being removed from consideration.
ECNV reserves the right to ask for material or financial support to obtain the gift from third party companies and sponsors.
All entries will be anonymous to prevent bias, and a group of judges may include staff, board members, and other ECNV stakeholders. The recipient will receive notification that they have been selected on or by December 15, 2021, and instructions for delivery and/or pick up of the gift will be provided at that time. The recipient may be required to show proper identification.

Comparta su historia con nosotros por correo electrónico y no dude en compartirlo todo. Ayúdenos a hacer una diferencia, pequeña o grande, en la vida de otra persona o de usted mismo. No dude en incluir detalles específicos que nos ayudarán a comprender un poco cómo un regalo así lo ayudará y compartirá lo que crea que es necesario.
