Social Concerns Announcements:

WELCOME to our ALTERNATIVE GIFT MARKET which can be found in the FLC Church narthex.  Do you ever struggle to find the perfect gift for your friends and loved ones?  It’s hard to shop for some people because they already have everything they want-- for others because you want your gift to mean something--.and for some it’s just tough to think of something!  Why not consider the perfect solution!  Give a gift that shows you care and also makes a big difference for someone in need!  God changed the world for each of us through the best gift of all—the birth of Jesus!  You can find over 50 options at our Alternative Gift Market—ideas for giving in our own community or region, or for a family on the other side of the world, or ways to grow the church! You will also find “stocking stuffers” like Equal Exchange coffee, tea, chocolate, or nuts!  Happy shopping!

DON’T MISS the OUTERWEAR INGATHERING RECEPTACLE that is to the left of the south entrance as you come into the church and also a SMALLER TUB to receive coats, caps mittens, and scarves for folks in need, both here in Washington County through Joseph’s Coat and through Open Door Mission.

Please note there is both a plastic and a wooden Receptacle for gifts to the WASHINGTON COUNTY FOOD PANTRY are available to receive your food donations at FLC at any time!

Our 9 to 12 Youth Group is HUNGRY on Sunday nights again!!

We currently have about 10-12 kids coming each night at 6:30pm to eat dinner together and spend time together doing all sorts of activities.

If you would be willing to provide a homemade dinner (chili or casserole or tacos...) or donate money to purchase a dinner (pizza or subs or other...), please contact Erika at 402-533-0918.

Driver Needed to deliver Meals

We are looking for 1 driver to deliver Mid Week Meals for FLC. It would be 2 times a month on Wednesdays to start between 5:00pm & 5:30pm. It would not take more than an hour to deliver meals to people in the Blair Community. We are needing someone starting in October. Please contact Erika if interested at (402) 533-0918.
