National Day of Prayer

THURSDAY, MAY 2

7:30am @ Viking Dance Hall

The Village of Gurnee and Mayor Tom Hood invite everyone to a prayer gathering on the National Day of Prayer, May 2 at 7:30am at the Viking Park Dance Hall.

Please Pray for our Kenya Mission Partners

Also please be praying for our ministry partners in Kenya where recent catastrophic flooding has affected the Kijabe area near to Little Lambs and one of their Board members has lost family members. More information

Park City Kids Day

SATURDAY, JUNE 1

Noon - 3pm @ Betty Limbrunner Park

This year's Park City Kid's Day will be on Saturday, June 1 from noon-3pm at Betty Limbrunner Park in Kid's City. This is a great opportunity to show that we are "For Our Neighbors" as there will be many volunteers needed. You can register to help online or in the lobby on Sundays.

BiG Sale

SUNDAY, MAY 5

Chapel

BiG Great Lakes will be having a sale on Sunday, May 5 in the Chapel after each service. This would be a great time to pick up a gift for Mother's Day on May 12!

Kindred Life Sippy Cup Returns

Kindred Life Sippy Cups can be returned to GCC anytime between now and Sunday, May 19. There will be a table in the lobby on Sundays for your returns, or you can drop them in the Church Office any weekday morning.

If you missed picking up a cup last week, we do have a few extras available in the lobby on Sunday.

Vacation Bible School 2024

VBS Sports Camp

JUNE 24 - 28

5pm - 8:15pm daily

Our annual Vacation Bible School will be a sports camp from Monday, June 24 thru Friday, June 28 from 5pm - 8:15pm each day, with an ice cream celebration on Friday after camp.

Registration is now open for kids to attend. If your child is incoming 1st grade – 6th grade they choose one sport (soccer, basketball or cheerleading) to develop skills in. If your child is incoming preschool (4 years old by start of camp) – incoming kindergarten they will participate in Team45 which will give them a chance to work on motor skill development with sports equipment.

The cost is $30 per child (max $80 per family). You child will get high level coaching, great bible teaching and exciting take home activities. A camp shirt is included!

VBS Volunteers Needed

We need LOTS of volunteers to help us run this event. If you are an adult or child 12 years and over (with parent/guardian consent), you can help! There are many different ways you can serve and some of them only need a couple of hours on one day. Please register to volunteer.
