Upcoming Events: Tentative list of Rock Hall's festivities this year

The Town of Rock Hall has several events set to take place this spring, summer and fall. Although a strictly tentative list that is subject to change, the information below aims to outline our community's hopes for public gatherings and entertainment in safe and sustainable environments – and in accordance with all local and state regulations.
Circus – Friday, May 21 at 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. This year's Circus, sponsored by the Rock Hall Lion's Club, will be held at the Civic Center with shows at 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase from Pasta Plus and Rock Hall Lumber. Spring Triathlon – Saturday and Sunday, June 5-6. Kinetic Multisports is putting on the annual Olympic and Sprint Triathlons based at Rock Hall Harbor. The USA Triathlon-sanctioned event draws thousands to the area. For more information or to register, visit kineticmultisports.com.
Fourth of July Parade – Saturday, July 3 at 11:00 a.m.
Fourth of July Fireworks – Saturday, July 3 at dusk. For more information on Rock Hall's Independence Day events, visit rockhallmd.com.
Gun Bash – Saturday, July 31 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The fifth annual Gun Bash, put on by the Rock Hall Volunteer Fire Company and Mid-Shore Chapter NWTF, is open to the public. Tickets admit one at the door for food, beer and soda. Special drawings begin at 12:30 p.m. Learn more at rockhallvfc.org.
Pirates and Wenches Fantasy Weekend – Friday-Sunday, August 13-15. Presented by Main Street Rock Hall. Schedule of events, performers and activities forthcoming. For updates, visit rockhallpirates.com.
Fall Triathlon (Grand National) – Saturday and Sunday, October 2-3. Like its spring counterpart, the Rock Hall Fall Waterman's Long, Olympic and Sprint Triathlons are national events. Learn more at kineticmultisports.com.
FallFest – Saturday, October 9. FallFest attracts thousands of visitors from across the Eastern Seaboard, showcasing and celebrating our town's rich history and maritime heritage. Details for this year's fest have yet to be confirmed. Stay tuned at rockhallfallfest.org.

BRMSA Knot New Sale:
The Bay Region Mariners Sailing Association (BRMSA) is hosting a public "Knot New Sale" of used boating supplies at Main Street's Durocher's Lot, next to The Village shops, tomorrow May 8, 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

SHRINKWRAP RECYCLING
As part of a new region-wide initiative, all vessels that have requested for their shrinkwrap to be removed by Haven Harbour Yacht Services will have a $15 dollar recycling bag fee charged to their spring commissioning work order. DIYers will need to buy the $15 recycling bag from one of our marine stores in order to dispose of any removed shrinkwrap. Boats larger than 35 feet may require two bags.
