Why Are We Doing More Pre-Orders?
In the "good old days", manufacturers created product lines that would last for several years and there were no supply chain issues.Today...well, that is a totally different story.
There is a 6-9 month lead time to get most new collections and manufacturers only order enough to fill their initial orders. Then...we have to worry about shipping delays! Rarely will a manufacturer reprint a line because the lead time is simply too long. This means by the time fabric is available and you see something advertised, it could have already sold out.

We try to guess how much fabric or how many kits we need to order, but our crystal ball isn't always correct!
The only way we get a sense of how much we need is to put products online and see what the response is. That is how much we will order (sometimes we order a bit more).

This is Dawn Rosengren's first fabric collection for Henry Glass Fabrics. It is a sweet collection inspired by her home and farm where she has sheep, horses, bunnies, dogs and more. She nurtures them all and has designed a line in a soft color palette of neutrals, dusty roses, taupe and gray.
There is a 24 inch panel featuring a farm scene, a 6 block panel with each block featuring llamas, bunnies, birds and sheep. Some coordinates include a field of cotton, watercolor florals, simple dots, a gingham check, a tossed bunny design and tossed carrots. There is also a 36” book panel to go with this collection.
