Whose Voice Will We Hear on Dobbs Decision Day?
✡︎ Shalom and Good Day, Friends ✡︎

We've heard from many different voices leading up to Dobbs Decision Day. We've added our voice to the mix, and we thank HaShem for the opportunities to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves. As our June flyer notes, we hope the court will speak for innocent babies and vulnerable parents - not for abortion industry profiteers. Thank you, publishers and editors, who ran our flyer this month!

The Halachic hair splitting on abortion in Judaism continues to gather momentum as Dobbs Decision Day approaches. An article published on June 2, 2022 in the Jewish Press entitled, Clarifying Abortion In Halacha – And Reasons Not To Favor Overturning Roe V. Wade, disturbed many of our friends.
Clarifying Abortion In Halacha – And Reasons Not To Favor Overturning Roe V. Wade

We discussed the misleading and obfuscating views in the article with the rabbis on our Speakers List, as well as with our Monthly Mishpacha attendees on June 12th, deciding that we needed to respond with opinion pieces and letters, and submit them to the Jewish Press and other Jewish media.

The Jewish Press published our op-ed in the June 17, 2022 edition. View it here.

American Thinker accepted it, too!
A Jewish take on late-term abortion and Roe v. Wade

We are waiting to see if the Jewish Press publishes letters to the editor submitted by several of our friends in next week's issue. In the meantime, we are busy preparing for a new monthly show from Jerusalem and planning another healing opportunity on July 24th. Thank you to our new friends and supporters who have sent moral and financial support our way. We really appreciate you!

May there be abundant peace from Heaven, and good life upon us and upon all Israel. Amen.

Though we don't endorse political candidates or donate to political campaigns, we do inform our readers about the views of those running for office.

We would like to introduce Leora Levy, Senate candidate in the state of Connecticut. Leora is a conservative Jewish woman who respects life. She has a tough race ahead of her, running against Democrat pro-abortion incumbent Richard Blumenthal.

Leora says, "I am the only principled conservative in the Republican primary and the only one who can defeat Blumenthal. I am pro-life, pro-2A, the only woman who voted for Pres. Trump and was nominated by Pres. Trump to be Ambassador to Chile. My mother and grandparents escaped the Nazis but went to Cuba because they could not get into the US. I escaped Castro’s Communist Cuba with my family in 1960. I thank God every day that I am an American citizen. I stand up against CRT, SEL, DEI, all the woke Socialist policies that the Democrats are pushing on our children through the education system and on the rest of us through our businesses and our culture. Leora will drop into our Monthly Mishpacha meeting either in July or August to share more about her candidacy. Her website is https://leoraforct.com

How you can heal from abortion loss."
Our next healing event is scheduled for Sunday July 24, 2022 from 1 pm to 5 pm ET in our private zoom room. We are adding Hebrew captioning for our Hebrew speaking attendees.
Our last session was positive and peaceful, so we're looking forward to another life changing opportunity to meet and participate in a post-abortion group encounter and discussion. Tikvat Rachel offers a unique Teshuvah based healing approach for Jewish women who suffer with regret after abortion. Attendees can meet and speak with one another afterward in a private chat room.

Our July Monthly Mishpacha will be July 3rd at 11 am ET. We will show a short video and then enjoy private conversation and connection.

At last month's meeting, I announced that I would set up a private video/chat room so that members can share ideas in between meetings by posting messages for other members or by video chatting together, The room is now enabled on Discord. To participate, download the Discord app onto your mobile or desktop device at https://discord.com/download.

To maintain safety and privacy, our Discord channel is private and unable to find unless you have an invite link.
We will share the invite link at the meeting on May 1st. If you want to join us on Discord but can't get to the meeting, please email me and I will give you the invite link and help you access the room.

I've set up the registration for our Monthly Mishpacha so that you can register once and that registration will work on subsequent Sundays.
