Our next CCA Advocacy Committee Meeting is on Monday, December 13th from 9:30AM to 11:00AM. This is the final meeting for 2021.

Our December 13th meeting will be the last CCA Advocacy Committee meeting for 2021.

Plan to attend the Dec 13th meeting! We will have Natalie Mullis, Legislative Council Staff Director and Bill Zepernick, Fiscal Note Manager joining us from 9:30AM to 10:30AM. They will discuss the role of the Legislative Committee Services (LCS), including the importance of preparing fiscal notes, and what the protocols for the 2022 session will be. Colorado is launching a retirement program for all employees.

Here’s what that means.

Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Seeks Comment

on Extending Broadband Affordability Program

On November 18, 2021, the FCC released a public notice seeking comment on the requirements for the Affordable Connectivity Program and a timeline for its rapid implementation. The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act extends and modifies the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program to a longer-term broadband affordability program to be called the Affordable Connectivity Program.
