Tai Ji Quan: Moving for Better Balance (TJQMBB) is an evidence-based workshop for older adults who are concerned about the risk of falls and led by a trained and certified volunteer instructor. Over the course of 24 weeks, participants will learn 8 forms of yang-style tai ji quan as well as mini-therapeutic movements specifically chosen to help improve strength, balance, and flexibility. It is encouraged to attend as many of the classes as possible to receive the most benefits.

In order to practice safe social distancing, we will be holding the class virtually using Zoom.

CLASS REQUIREMENTS: Computer with a strong internet connection (or mobile device with a large enough screen to easily see the instructor demonstrate the forms). Webcam, speakers, and microphone so the instructor can ensure forms are being done safely.
