An Unexpected Call from the Lord

Sometimes in life we encounter a completely unexpected call from the Lord that is so significant and utterly life-changing. That time came for me in mid-April 2021 when I was approached by a longtime, dear and trusted friend to pray about a new part of my journey.

After much prayer and seeking wise counsel, I responded to Jesus with a "Yes and Amen!" As a result, I entered into a candidacy for Congress. America is in desperate need of Christian servants in Washington, D.C. who will stand for righteousness and Biblical values. I am fully aware that His Spirit is the One who must lead me, keep me and cover me. Please pray for my family and me in this season, because the battle will be fierce. I am deeply grateful that His grace is sufficient.
However, I am fully committed to our vision for Beautiful Gate Translations as we continue to provide in-depth Bible studies in Eastern Europe and beyond. I treasure each one of you and look forward to seeing you at our next Leadership conference in the Fall of 2021 to introduce our Romanian "A Woman's Heart: God's Dwelling Place". Tatiana continues to be a very strong and valued colleague as our Coordinator in Sibiu and will be coordinating the conference.

Living Beyond Yourself study is an answer to prayers, something my soul has long sought, the girls are overwhelmed and excited too. This Bible study is over and I am amazed at how God has worked and is working among us. Through our unity we had another kind of prayer, interceded for each other with a different attitude, and saw God's answers. He worked in such a wonderful way that my mind could not comprehend how such a good God could make us happy by hearing our prayers.
When we were on the subject of the kindness and goodness of God, together with all the girls being inspired by the Holy Spirit we decided to raise money and cover a financial debt of an orphan from the Rep. of Moldova, whose parents died and she could not manage alone. We were very impressed by the videos, especially on the topic of Patience. Even though Beth recorded it years ago, the message is still relevant today.

There are still many things we have to learn, keeping the faith requires fighting and this transforms your character. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being with us in this journey and offering your assistance.
