REWARDING DEADLINE APPROACHES
It’s time to submit your eligible receipts for BID’s Spring Rewards program that wraps up this Sunday, May 5. Any purchases of $25 or more made between April 1 and May 5 at BID or Chamber member businesses in the categories of retail, food and beverage, personal services, accommodations, attractions, and more can earn you gift card rewards based on your spending level. Find the full list of eligible businesses and guidelines on how to submit your receipts at DowntownDurango.org/Spring-Rewards. Limit one entry per household; receipts must be submitted by 11:59 pm on May 5.
EXPANDED E-BIKE INCENTIVES
Not only is the city accepting applications for this year’s e-bike rebate program for private citizens, but the funding will also now offer grants to organizations seeking to be e-bike service providers. The e-bike rebate application is available to income-qualified residents, students, or members of Durango’s workforce and includes opportunities for coverage of helmets, bike locks, and commuter bags. The grants are geared for organizations to purchase bikes and operate a program that provides access to e-bikes in the community. Learn more at DurangoCO.gov/E-BikeRebates. Applications are due by May 17. (Don’t forget you may also be able to use a receipt from your local e-bike purchase to qualify for our Spring Rewards program – see above story).

  • A list of our contributions to beautification projects, event sponsorships, and more.
ROOTING FOR YELLOW CARROT
BID would like to send out a HUGE CONGRATS to Sari and her team at the Yellow Carrot Restaurant. Located in our North Main District at 3206 Main Avenue, The Yellow Carrot has been selected to be on America’s Best Restaurants, a national roadshow that highlights the unique food of locally-owned independent restaurants and airs digitally across a network of social media channels and websites. The Yellow Carrot’s episode filmed earlier this week and is expected to air in June through AmericasBestRestaurants.com. Check out the Yellow Carrot’s offerings at TheYellowCarrot.com.
