SAR Service Makes Leaders
One of the greatest returns on your SAR investment can be leadership skills, if you choose to serve.

Leadership skills are completely portable, travel in your own head, can never be taken away from you, and can be used in myriad circumstances for the rest of your life.

SAR leaders gathered for a day-long leadership training session, last week, with nationally-renowned trainer Ginger Downs.

Ginger led members in discussions to draft the association's new Strategic Plan, that will guide SAR leadership and the association for the coming biennium (2022-2024).

NEW!

Trials and Tribulations
of a Booming Real Estate Market
“I’d say we’re about 30,000 housing units off in Spokane,” said Eric Johnson, president of Spokane Association of REALTORS® and director of training for Northwest Real Estate Brokers.

“How did it get this bad?

It’s a hangover from the recession.

To catch up we would have to produce at least 1,800 units a year, and we did 500.”

Now Upgraded
to high-resolution files!
Larger, clearer images!
Online now!

By member request, your SAR Communications Committee has arranged for larger, clearer high-resolution image files for the SAR Member Photo Archive.

The first generation files are perfect for digital and online use, but some members tell us they prefer to use these images in print pieces where more robust files are necessary.

Our Member Photo Archive holds 20 images taken from across the Spokane area by Nick Brommer Photography (sample at left).

Our perpetual license allows you, as a member, to use these images however you choose in your real estate business - please don't share these with non-members or use them outside of your real estate business.

Stuff you have to do,
so you might as well know
how to do it well.

Washington REALTORS® Legal Hotline lawyer Annie Fitzsimmons and Spokane REALTOR®/Instructor Sabrina Jones-Schroeder JD, have been working on a seven-part video series on real estate issues regulated by the DOL.
In part two, Annie and Sabrina discuss potential pitfalls that the Department of Licensing looks for... including things like up-to-date education requirements, fingerprinting, giving the buyer the keys prematurely, and more.
