Bring the whole family to the Salinas City Center Farmer’s Market, operated by the Oldtown Salinas Foundation. The market is open every Saturday from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. While you’re there, be sure to stop off at the Michelle’s Creations family booth which will feature many fun flower and craft activities, along with a visit with Michelle’s domestic rescue rabbit, Hopper the Bunny, a therapy bunny.
Special for Mother’s Day, Michelle Corrales will host a Mother’s Day Family Flower Arranging Workshop Station, in addition to her popular weekly plant and floral art workshops and arts and crafts. Other activities include a succulent workshop, how to build a mini-terrarium/fairy garden workshop, and her special Spread A Smile activity, where she gives the children sunflower seeds to plant in their yards and for them to give to a friend and “pay it forward”. She also has special crafts projects for the very little ones who have their very own nearby space.

Pacific Grove is known as Butterfly Town, USA, and America’s Last Hometown. It was even named by Life magazine as the nation’s most romantic city.
But there’s a slogan that has been over looked until now: Pacific Grove—The Perfect Walking Town.
Consider the climate, making outdoor activity a pleasure no matter what the season. Our temperatures are rarely uncomfortably hot or bitterly cold, and on only a handful of days a year is it so wet and windy that it’s impossible to set foot outdoors at some point during the day.
Pacific Grove is blessed with miles of walking paths, hiking trails, and city sidewalks, all safe and well-maintained. Your on-foot journeys through the town will take you past the home of a Nobel Prize laureate and Victorian homes both quaint and majestic. Farther afield you’ll find a lighthouse, a historic cemetery, and a conference center designed by the architect of Hearst Castle. Venture onto our shoreline Recreation Trail or into one of our parks, and you will be greeted with incomparable scenery, from the waters of Monterey Bay teeming with wildlife to the forested parks, and even a butterfly sanctuary.
Whether a long-time resident or a brand-new arrival, you, too, will discover that Pacific Grove is The Perfect Walking Town.

CALL TO ARTISTS
THE PACIFIC GROVE ART CENTER IS SEEKING DONATIONS FOR THE
TINY TREASURES 2021 MINIATURES SHOW
ATTENTION ALL ARTISTS! SUBMIT YOUR MINIATURE ART WORKS, PLEASE! Will you help support the nonprofit Pacific Grove Art Center (PGAC) by donating a beautiful miniature work of art to the 2021 Tiny Treasures show? They will begin accepting donations on April 14 through June 24, 2021. The office is located at 568 Lighthouse, P.G. and is staffed to receive donations Wednesday through Saturday from 12-5pm and Sunday from 12-4pm (except for Sunday, May 2).
They are limiting the number of donated pieces to a maximum of 3 pieces. Donated art must be original work (no reproductions) and any medium is accepted. Each piece must be no larger than 8”x 10” inches, including frame, and not exceed 7 inches in depth. Each piece must be ready to hang on the wall, with hooks or wires already attached.
Tiny Treasures is one of the nonprofit Art Center’s most playful and lively annual fundraisers and generates income to help PGAC continue to serve the community. Each miniature will be displayed with a “voting box” where patrons will deposit their purchased raffle tickets. At the close of the show, one winning ticket will be drawn for each piece of art.
Please donate your art -- and then join PGAC for this much anticipated Opening Reception on Friday, July 2, 2021 from 7-9 pm (tentative).
