300 Arizonans join in to ask candidates to prioritize education

Recently, 300 people from across the state signed an open letter to Arizona’s candidates for Governor and Superintendent of Public Instruction asking them to discuss and share solutions to Arizona’s most pressing education issues.

Arizonans want candidates to share solutions that address the most important issues that impact students and educators, including:

  • Ensuring every Arizona public school classroom has a qualified teacher
  • Helping students learn key subjects, like math and reading
  • Raising teacher pay and increasing public school funding
  • Increasing more opportunities for Career and Technical Education
  • And more…

These priorities confirm the results from a recent poll of likely voters.
