2 Worship Service Options - Both at 9:30am Sunday!
The team at Sugar River has been working to prepare a safe and engaging worship experience that brings us back together in community! If you are watching worship virtually, you will be hearing the same songs, sermon, and readings that we will be hearing in person. Either way you choose to worship, we are eager for a friendly hello! Don't forget to like or comment through the virtual platforms!

If you plan to join for outdoor worship we encourage you to wear your mask and bring your own chair, a hat and sunglasses. It was quite sunny on Sunday!

If the weather doesn't look like it will allow us to worship outside we will make a call by 4pm on Saturday and send an email to all. We will just see you virtually if we need to cancel!
Again, we are so glad to be able to worship together in person. Providing a high-quality outdoor service takes a few extra steps and we could use your help! Would you consider assisting in the set up/take-down on Sunday mornings until we move indoors? Please sign up for the week(s) that work for you below. Thank you in advance and we appreciate the help so far!
This Sunday's Worship Service
Begin Again: Hope and Renewal Start Today
"Enjoy God’s Good Gifts"
What word from God can we receive through the story of Job and his incredibly blessed and the “cursed” life? A story of riches to rags, prosperity to poverty, joy to sorrow. Yet, he chooses not to follow his friends suggestion to curse God and die. Wow, that is some advice. But Job has seemed to earn the right to hate and blame. How is it that Job concludes that he will not find the answers to the why of suffering.

God owes no person anything, yet we find that God has given us everything. What? And, it is in the storm of life that Job sees God...and God gave Job more than Job ever dreamed. God gave Job himself. Might we be in a storm that we need God’s grace? Can we see and experience God’s good gifts today...and begin again? This is also Youth Sunday and we will be blessed by the presence and gifts of our youth during the service. We will also recognize our graduates!

HERE is a link to this week's Order of Service (page 1) and song lyrics (page 2) if you'd like to have it on your phone during service. We will also have printouts available.

Online service at 9:30am on YouTube or Facebook.
Be sure to say hello, tap like, or send us a message whenever you watch!
Hey there, Sugar River musicians! This is Catie Brooks, the new Worship Arts Coordinator at Sugar River UMC. I've been getting to know each of you rather slowly, so I thought some sort of interest form might speed things up! Whether you're a returning musician at SRUMC, or a newbie, I'd love if you could take a minute to fill out this form!
Spring is a time for gift-giving!
Consider giving Scrip/Gift cards for Mother's Day this year! They also make great graduation, Father's Day, birthday, shower gifts, and gifts for those upcoming weddings! We have many to choose from: Amazon, Gap/Old Navy, Panera, Starbucks, Target, TJMaxx, HomeGoods, Walmart, Kwik Trip, Best Buy, Budget Car Rental, and Miller's. Simply email HERE to place your order and we can mail them to you or you can pick up in time for your next celebration (or just to use on your weekly errands). As always, its a win-win since a portion goes toward our Youth Mission Trips!
Grow
Grow Celebration!
We are happy to share that we have a group of 6 people from Sugar River who began a 9-week Wellness Circle training with Living Compass this week. Please join us in praying for this group as they learn and grow! We aim to incorporate the wholeness and wellness knowledge into our current ministries as well as offerings for our surrounding community. Stay tuned!
Calling all families of current 6th and 7th graders!
We would love your opinion! We are in the midst of planning Encounter (Confirmation) for next school year's 7th & 8th grade students. You may have seen the email sent earlier this week, but in case you missed it or didn't get a chance yet, please take a moment to fill out the short survey HERE by this Sunday. We greatly value your input to make the program accessible and meaningful for all who participate!
