Kind Club Book Drive

Middle School Kind Club is doing a book drive! Our goal is to be able to send home a book home with all students for summer reading! Please donate your gently used books to the book bins that are found at the front of building 1, 2, and A. Elementary-aged books will be given to Ms. McGinn for distribution. Middle and Upper grades will be distributed during long homeroom on Friday, May 10th.

Let's Hear it for our Soccer Team!

The NYOS Co-ed High School Soccer Team hosted senior night against the Austin Royals at Northeast Metro Park last Thursday night. All seniors in attendance started the game and led the team to a 2-1 victory with goals from seniors Gael Morales and Miles Longnion. Unplugged & Outside: April 27, 9:30 am - 1 pm


The PTA Spring Fundraiser will be held from 9:30 am-1 pm on Saturday, April 27th on campus. Elementary students will raise money to participate in a fun-run around the pond, all participants who raise $25 or more will receive a free t-shirt.

We will also hold a field day for Secondary students from 11 am - 1 pm! For all attendees, we will have a bounce house slide, an obstacle course, parkour, soccer, Kona Ice, snacks for sale, and much, much more!

Below is a student bios for a potential foreign exchange student who would like to join NYOS next school year. We are looking for host families and now is the time to begin our search for the perfect fit.

  

Pax.org is a non-profit organization that helps international J1 visa students study in the US. www.pax.org

Host for one semester or the school year. Fall/Spring or the 2024/25 school year. They will arrive right before school starts. They would like to learn about our culture and share theirs

Interests: Basketball, Track and Field (Running), Watching Sports, Cooking, Computer Programming, Listening to music and traveling 

Inigo's a kind and caring guy who lost his dad when he was young. He's really interested in biology and nature because he finds ecosystems and cells fascinating. Inigo's tight with his family, and he's confident he'll connect with you too. He's thrilled about this chance to learn and grow. He's from the Basque area and enjoys staying healthy and hanging out with friends. He enjoys playing basketball and following the NBA.
