Our community mourns when we experience violence based on our shared identity. In honor of the fallen Israeli soldiers, victims of terror, and those who gave their lives defending the State of Israel, we invite you to a Yom HaZikaron Ceremony, Monday, April 24 at Congregation Anshai Torah. If you'd like to include the name of the fallen or a personal story, please email names of the fallen by March 20 and stories by March 1.
The celebration continues on April 30 when the Aaron Family Jewish Community Center hosts Israel's Independence Day Celebration with special guest, Itay Levi. On February 13th, more than 70 Jewish community members from across the state of Texas joined together in Austin for the 2023 Jewish Communities Day at the State: Legislative Mission to Austin. The Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) of the Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas helped organize the advocacy day at the Texas Capitol in coordination with all Jewish Federations in Texas. |
