Our public services adhere to prescribed CDC safety protocols. Therefore, we require everyone attending our service to wear a mask while inside the building. Unvaccinated individuals must maintain a 6-foot distance from other attendees. Special seating is set up to accommodate you.
We have suspended our Online Fellowship Gathering that kept us connected during the pandemic. We hope that you are getting vaccinated and feel safe enough to join us here at the Sanctuary. There are opportunities for fellowship in the Friendship Hall and outside when the weather permits.
Your Unity Spiritual Center is sustained by your financial gifts. If you are able, we encourage you to continue your weekly contributions. Click Ways 2 Give for a list of donation options.

Community News
Community In-Reach

As a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic and the consequences of social distancing, members of our community are dealing certain hardships. Consequently, our in-reach team is offering their assistance. If you or someone you know could use a little assistance, please fill out our contact form. If you are willing to serve as a volunteer for our in-reach team, please contact our team coordinator Sandy at 208-964-4084.

Community Garden

If you like to garden but do not have the space at home, we have plots available. You can acquire one or more for the season for the low cost of $35 per plot. The fee covers the cost of supplying water for our drip irrigation system. Since this is a COMMUNITY garden, please invite your friends and neighbors to participate. Plots are offered on a first come first serve basis. To reserve plots, call Audra at 208-667-7300 or Jerilyn at 208-664-1125.

START USING BAMBOO TOOTHBRUSHES
It should come as no surprise that plastic toothbrushes are not recyclable. Fortunately, there is a safer alternative. Toothbrushes made with bamboo handles reduce plastic waste. Bamboo is considered a renewable and sustainable plant. In addition, it does not require any pesticides, fertilizers, or additional irrigation to grow. Consequently, growing and harvesting bamboo is a carbon neutral process from start to finish. So, check out the many options available and get yourself some.

Join the Mowing Team

We are assembling a team of volunteers to help mow the Unity grounds during the summer months. With a team, this work can be assigned on a rotating schedule, so we won't have to burden a single individual. We have riding mowers, an electric push mower, and an edge trimmer to make this work as easy as possible. Let Jerilyn know if you can help.
Unity Food Pantry

Unity is partnering with Parker Subaru to provide free food via Parker's 24-hour public pantry on Government Way and Clayton. This existing resource is better located and is restocked daily. In addition, Parker Subaru has staff on hand to maintain it. We will assist them by supplying unexpired, non-perishable food items to keep it stocked. You can bring your food donations to Unity, and we will deliver them to Parker Subaru. There are more details on our website.
