Principal's Message

A HUGE thanks to everyone for sending so much love (and food and treats!) to our teachers this week. We really appreciate the support and positivity as we wrap up a really challenging and unique year. Special thanks to our PTO Teacher Appreciation Week committee for all of the treats, decorations, and special fun!
We will wrap up state testing next week with our 3rd grade in-person student math assessments. If your child has been absent for any session, I'll be working on make-ups next week as well.

We also have our final PTO meeting of the year--Zoom link listed in PTO News below. Thanks to everyone who has made time to join for a meeting this year! Please remember to check out the virtual art show that our awesome art teacher team pulled together and to pop into the Book Bin (in-person or virtually) or order books for our virtual book fair.

Happy Mother's Day this weekend to all of our Greenbriar mamas!

All Library Materials Due on Monday!
Please search your houses and cars for any Greenbriar library materials and return them on Monday so we can begin the process of packing up our library for construction this summer.

Spring Assessments
We administered the Illinois Assessment of Readiness in lieu of MAP during the past several weeks, so there will not be any MAP reports coming home in May. As always, teachers are using classroom assessment data to make sure students continue to demonstrate progress this spring. Parents will receive their child's final report card via email on the last day of school.
Greenbriar & RLA Virtual Art Show *repeat*
Take a virtual walk through the gallery of Greenbriar art May 3 - May 14. Each student has carefully chosen a piece they created this year to include in the gallery. Download the flyer for the link.
