The First Universalist EcoJustice team is collecting used eclipse glasses for donation to Astronomers Without Borders for distribution around the world. Between now and May 1, drop them in the box in the Clara Barton lounge. Bring your own and collect them from your neighbors. Thanks!

The stereotype of the Middle Ages is of a deeply Christian period of history, dominated by the Holy Roman Empire. Historians studying this period tend to view the characterization of the Middle Ages as Christian as a type of historical oxymoron. Dr. Joseph Scalzo will lead this discussion. Eastman at Washington Square Concerts take place on Thursdays at 12:15 to 12:45pm in our sanctuary. April 25 is "Piano Extravaganza I": Featuring students from the piano studio of Professor Ran Dank. Admission is free!
Friday, April 26 | Passover Seder
Come and join us as we celebrate a traditional Seder and meal. We begin at 6:30pm with song and story with participation by everyone present. We will eat at about 7:45pm. You are asked to bring a salad, entree, or dessert to serve about 6-8 people. Tableware, soup, grape juice, wine, and matzo are provided. Saturday, May 4 | Walking Tour of Washington Square Neighborhood
This tour, sponsored by the F.I.R.E. team of First Universalist, discusses the history of the Washington Square Neighborhood. The tour will begin at Rundel Library at 1:30pm, finishing up at Dinosaur BBQ around 3pm. Refreshments will be served in the Clara Barton Lounge afterwards.
