OREGON STATE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE gives these bills a thumbs up or thumbs down:
👍HB 3389. Unemployment tax rate relief on employers, particularly those whose experience ratings were negatively impacted by the pandemic. Note: Bill passed out of House and is now in Senate Chamber.
👎HB 2814: Requires DEQ to study program and policy approaches to reducing diesel emissions attributable to “indirect sources” of air contamination including construction sites. (Example: If you build an apartment complex with garages and parking spaces, which according to HB 2814 will be an indirect source of gases, DEQ would be the additional entity issuing permits and fees for the project.)

There is sport climbing, traditional climbing and bouldering. Hiking and mountain biking and opportunities to spot golden eagles, prairie falcons, river otter and beaver in the park attract even those who don’t come for the climb.
