“Joy In Spite of it All”

Sunday, September 25, 2022 at 11:30am

This Sunday we will continue to explore the Letter to the Philippians. St. Paul’s last letter it is full of inspiring words. During this month we will have occasion to talk about your ideas for future forums.

Christian Education will now take place in the Parish Office.

All Saints Sunday

Those interested in Baptisms, re-affirmations, receptions, confirmations should contact Bishop Brookhart or Kyle Black in the Office.

Vestry On-Call

Paul Adesokan

Vestry members are partners with clergy, encouraging the growth of community and the establishment of common ground in the spiritual life of the congregation. Parishioners are always welcome to speak with these individuals on Sunday morning; they assist in making sure our questions, comments, or concerns are heard.

For Pastoral care, call the church office or Bishop Brookhart.

Community

Technical Difficulties

We would like to apologize for the audio difficulties we are currently experiencing on our Sunday services. This is still a period of transition from our old sound system to a new system that will allow us to use more of the space in the cathedral. A big thank you to everyone who is working on this project, especially Hamilton Yang and Erik Knutzen. We look forward to a better enhanced experience in the near future. Thank you for understanding!

Halloween at the Cathedral

Halloween will take place for neighborhood children on October 31st at the Cathedral. Around seventy young folks visited the church last year.

Individually wrapped candies/cookies/drinks are requested and can be dropped off in the donation basket at church.

Interested volunteers should speak with our Sexton, Ms. Ada Galindo; be sure to bring your costume!

Become A New Member of the Flower Guild

Current members are eager to share their knowledge and artistry with new members and are always willing to pass along their experience and skills to others. A desire to learn, and a love for reverently arranging natural beauty is encouraged. Contact the office or speak with Ms. Martha Ree for more information.

Flower Donations

We continue to seek sponsors for flowers on Sunday Morning. If you would like to honor a loved one who has passed or give thanks to God for His ongoing blessings in your life, please contact the church office or make an online donation. Make an online donation!
