Barrington Day of Caring

Join the Barrington community for the Barrington Day of Caring on Monday, October 10. Volunteers gather at Town Hall and then come to BFS or another project site to work on a wide array of wonderful projects. For more details and to get involved, visit the Day of Caring Webpage here. Dassault Systemes BFS Visit

This week, volunteers from the business Dassault Systemes visited BFS and generously volunteered their time with us. We were so happy to host this group of volunteers and thankful for all the work that they accomplished during their visit. Thanks so much, Dassault Systemes team, for spending time at BFS.

Harvest Club

Fridays at BFS are so much fun! Join us from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. for Harvest Club, a chance to learn all about the Farm School and what goes into stocking the farm stand each week. No experience necessary! We look forward to seeing you there.

Visit the Farm Stand on Saturdays and Wednesdays

BFS's farm stand is open Saturdays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m.- noon. This week, our organically farmed harvest includes lots of wonderful fall vegetables.

Volunteer Hours This Week

Remember to bring water bottles, hats, sunscreen, and bug spray!

Sat. September 24, 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. Harvesting, washing and stocking the farm stand.

Sun. September 25, 9 a.m. Compost mixing and projects.

Tues. September 27, 5:30 p.m. - 7 p.m. Crop projects.

Weds. September 28, 3:15 p.m. Compost mixing and field prep. Boots are recommended.

All welcome. No experience necessary. Ideal for community service hours and projects.

Donations to Tap-In

This week, in partnership with Tap-In, BFS donated several pounds of fresh produce. Weekly donations will continue throughout harvest season.
