Introducing Our New US Board Members
Sean Duncan
International Development, Finance and Security Professional

As someone with family roots in the Philippines and agriculture sector, I was drawn to the mission of GSS and using seed saving as a way to reduce reliance on commercial seeds (as well as preserve culture!). The more I learned about the impact that Sherry and the Team were trying to create, the more I wanted to help out. I can't wait to leverage my background in international development, finance, and strategic planning to help the Team empower local farmers.

Susan Matthew
Agriculture Researcher and Policy Analyst

I joined the U.S. Board of Global Seed Savers because of the inspiring work they do, side by side with the farmers, despite political and structural oppression. I am excited to facilitate the progression of seed schools and libraries across more communities in more regions.

I also hope to contribute insightful perspectives on community owned and operated agri-food-seed-nutrition systems.

Welcome To The Team
Our New Development Coordinator
Anjanette Wilson
You all will probably remember Anjanette as our Graduate Fellow. She joined us last June 2021 in this capacity.

After completing her Masters in Environmental Management from Western Colorado University in May 2022, she has now joined us as our Development Coordinator!

Anjanette shared:

"I’m truly looking forward to contributing to the global movement of seed saving as a practice for climate resiliency, securing Indigenous rights, and preserving our Filipino culture!"

Welcome to the team Anjanette!
