Congregational Meeting

There will be a congregational meeting Sunday at 11 a.m. in the Ark for the purpose of electing new Elders and Deacons and approving the terms of call for our pastor. We will also be receiving the 2022 LPC Operating Budget. Copies are currently available at the Welcome Center.
The Reach Out Committee will be hosting our annual Outdoor Live Nativity on Saturday from 6 - 8:30 p.m. We will be serving Cookies and Hot Chocolate to everyone who comes by the church to enjoy this special way of remembering the One who is at the center of this special season. We hope everyone will stop by before, during or after Lebanon's Christmas Carriage Parade. Reminder cookies need to be individually wrapped with see-through wrap (no red or green wrapping please, prefer not to have wax wrapping either). Please deliver Saturday between 4 -5:30 p.m. at the Welcome Center.
Children’s Christmas Musical

This Sunday at 10 a.m.
Combined Worship service.

All Aboard! Come on the Christmas Express with us! The children have been busy preparing a new Christmas musical about a group of children traveling to Bethlehem…. PA on Christmas Eve to perform their annual Christmas pageant.
There’s lots of fun along the way and a few surprises as they journey together to celebrate the gift of God’s Son. The children are excited and are busily preparing for their roles and some are getting our set design props ready!
Greeting our Guests
After worship this Sunday we will be serving refreshments so that we can visit with children in the Christmas musical.  Some of these families are not members of LPC, so please do whatever you can to greet them and make them feel welcome. Remember: all of us once were strangers until someone made us feel welcome!  Also, please be sure and thank the children for a job well done.  They have been rehearsing for this musical since September.  The congregational meeting will take place after the refreshments.
Do you love to buy gifts? Choose a tag from the Angel Tree this Sunday, December 5 from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. Bring the wrapped gift back on Wednesday, December 8 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. or Sunday December 12 from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m.

Does shopping make you ill but you still want to give? Stop by the Angel Tree table this Sunday and do a virtual donation online. You may even pick the child you wish to support or better yet a group of siblings. If you can't stop by the table, but want to participate, please contact Patty Corfman at 513-336-8129 or pattyoboe@zoomtown.com
Giving Tree Supports
Women with Crisis Pregnancies

Once again this year our church is supporting Elizabeth New Life Center by purchasing baby items for women with crisis pregnancies. You can participate in the Giving Tree by taking a tag from the Christmas trees at the base of the balcony stairs and outside the Ark. That tag will tell you what baby item you need to buy. After purchasing the item, please return it to the church unwrapped by Sunday, December 12. If you are unable to come to the church, Melody Bain or Maggie O’Bryon will bring you a tag and arrange for a pickup the week of December 5. Make online donations at elizabethnewlife.org, or shop online at their baby registry on Walmart.com or Amazon.com by entering the name ENLC, last name Boutique and city of Dayton or Ohio depending on the website. .
Staff Love Offering

If you would like to express your appreciation to our staff and wish them well for the Christmas holidays, a love offering will be received now through December 19. Checks can be made payable to LPC marked “Love Offering.” If you prefer to make a donation to a particular individual, please make the check payable to that person. Please note, only checks made payable to LPC are tax deductible.
Brenda Bingham Retires after 32 years as LPC Church Secretary

On Sunday, December 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Narthex, there will be an open house retirement reception where we will say goodbye to Brenda and her family. She has seen LPC go through many changes over the last 32 years. Stop by and congratulate her on retiring and say thank you for her outstanding service to LPC. We will also be collecting a love offering for Brenda during both worship services on that day. If you would like to contribute to the farewell love offering, please write a check payable directly to Brenda Bingham and put it in the offering box. If you prefer a cash contribution, please use a pew envelope and label the envelope “Brenda Bingham.”

Place gifts in the Red Barrel located at the entrance to the Ark. Gifts may be brought to the church office during the week, Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. or Friday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. No toy guns or weapon-type toys please! We try to keep our gifts of equal value ($15-20) each for infants to 14 year olds. Crayons, children's reading books, hats and mittens will also be collected. Monetary donations are accepted and used to purchase toys. Please write checks payable to Lebanon's Christmas for Tots!
