Gatorade VA Boys Soccer Player of Year

The accolades keep coming for this outstanding young man and soccer player! Parker Sloan, a member our our U18/19 Magic Elite team, was just named Gatorade VA Boys Soccer Player of the Year! We are thrilled for Parker and his continued success in soccer. Parker will head to the University of Virginia to play on the men's soccer team this year. We are so proud of you and your accomplishments, Parker!

FCR College Scholarship Recipients

We are thrilled to announce our 2022 college scholarship recipients! Every year FC Richmond grants scholarships to players who are living out FC Richmond's motto of going Beyond the Game by making a difference in their community and for their commitment to FC Richmond. Pro23 Update

FC Richmond's Pro23 teams are off to a great start to the season! Our men's team won their first game 3-1 and the women's team tied 0-0 against VB United. Game two for the men was a success with a 1-0 win against Richmond United. Come support the teams at their next home game on June 22nd at 5:30pm (men's team) and 7:30pm (women's team) at James River High School. Games are free!

Welcome Beth Doggett

We are excited to welcome Beth Doggett to our FC Richmond staff! As many of our current families know, our long time Futures and Classic Teams Administrator, Robin Hinton, retired at the end of May. Robin started with FC Richmond as a team manager for her son's team, then became our part time Recreational Soccer Administrator, and then moved into the full time role of Futures and Classic Teams Administrator a number of years ago.  Robin will be a tough act to follow but we are pleased to announce we have hired an exceptional candidate to fill the role. Beginning June 1st, Beth Doggett assumed the role of Futures and Classic Teams Administrator. The Doggetts have been associated with FC Richmond since 2009 when their daughter, who is now a rising U18/19 Mystx Elite player, started in U4 rec soccer. And like Robin, Beth has been a team manager for her son's Magic Elite team for a number of years. Beth not only brings a wealth of FC Richmond history and experience, she is also a seasoned administrative professional.  We could not be happier to welcome Beth to the FC Richmond staff! Players of the Season

As the spring season has come to an end, travel team coaches are selecting a "Player of the Season" who stood out due to their skills, teamwork, leadership, attitude, work ethic or a combination of these qualities. Each player selected will be highlighted on FC Richmond's social media platforms. Congratulations to all who are recognized! Stay tuned for more recognitions in the weeks to come!
