Let’s celebrate how the FOOD ALLERGY community is coming together to build awareness, education and hope during FOOD ALLERGY AWARENESS WEEK: Sunday, May 9-15, 2021.
We are grateful to all of the teachers, doctors, nurses, hospitals, researchers, support groups, food allergy friendly companies, restaurants, grocery stores, mail carriers, delivery individuals, non-profits, and everyone that is not only helping with the COVID virus, but is specifically helping our community.

Food Allergy Awareness: Parenting Roundtable
Ahead of the 2021 Food Allergy Awareness Week, food allergy social worker Kim Menzel will talk with the parents of food allergy patients about what they wish they had known earlier and what advice they have for parents of recently diagnosed children. Special guests will include Denise Bunning, a well-known advocate and co-founder of MOCHA (Mothers of Children Having Allergies) and Lindsay Schultz from feedyourcan.com. Free, all welcome, live Q&A via Zoom. Join them from 1:00-2:00 pm EST.

It's time to get cooking! Your favorite chefs bring you incredible recipes and a live cooking demo! On Monday at 9:00 a.m. ET we will be releasing the list of ingredients needed for our live cooking demo.Then Join us at 6 p.m. ET with Chef Leslie Durso as she whips up a delicious top 9 free meal using the ingredients we shared with you earlier that day. You won’t want to miss this fun demo.

Join us for a day of giving!
A day of giving back featuring the F.A.Q. (Food Allergy Quiz) with host Ali Khan and dozens of amazing prizes! We are having an all-day telethon…or, a teal-athon, to raise money, and we are going to have a ton of fun while doing it. All day long, across all of our channels, we’re going to be running pledge drives, auctions for unique items, games, contests and more to raise the cash we need to do our work for you!

Meet MOCHA's Newest Member: Morgan Smith!
|
Meet MOCHA's new web designer. Morgan Smith is the founder of Artichoke Studio, a web strategy and design collective. He's a lifelong advocate for food allergies and lives with severe food allergies to peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, shellfish, and fish. He has written extensively since age 9 for AllergicChild.com about life with food allergies in "Morgan's Corner." Additionally, he's been published in AllergicLiving and featured in an NBC Nightly News production on food allergies. Morgan loves a good read, quiet forest nights while camping, and cooking extensively.
