Bridging Science and Spirituality
If there are two systems that have traditionally been at odds, it is science and mysticism. Here-to-for never the twain shall meet.
However, if we base our reality on what science has managed to prove to date, our perceptions are extremely limited.
On the other hand, when ungrounded in fact, spirituality can become delusional.
What would happen if the two were to be combined? Could they provide checks and balances for each other helping us reach a deeper understanding of reality?
With us this hour to delve into this intriguing topic is Mona Sobhani. Mona is a cognitive neuroscientist, and the author of “Proof of Spiritual Phenomena: A Neuroscientist’s Discovery of the Ineffable Mysteries of the Universe.”
A former research scientist at the University of Southern California, she holds a doctorate in neuroscience from the University of Southern California and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Vanderbilt University with the MacArthur Foundation Law and Neuroscience Project.
