Almighty God, you have given your only Son to be for us a sacrifice for sin, and also an example of godly life: Give us grace to receive thankfully the fruits of his redeeming work, and to follow daily in the blessed steps of his most holy life; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Church by the Pond – August 21 – 2:00 P.M.
Church by the Pond is the Saturday worship service companion to the “Church Street Eats” feeding program in Bushnell Park, both coordinated by Christ Church Cathedral. Trinity is one of a number of area churches who participate in this ministry, and have since it began 10 years ago.
Trinity’s next opportunity to serve in this ministry is Saturday, August 21. We’ll participate in the worship service by the pond at 2:00, led by Rev. D. We will distribute lunches following the service, and should finish around 3:00.
Please come for as much of this time as you can – friends and families are welcome. Please contact me if you have questions.

Save the Date:
Homecoming Sunday on September 12
Trinity Church will launch its new program year in style with a big (but responsibly safe) party on September 12 – an event we’re calling Homecoming Sunday. Following the 10 am service, there will be a wide range of activities, including:
- Delicious refreshments
- Fun games
- Guided tours of the Trinity Church buildings
- Prizes
- And, most importantly, the chance to see your Trinity Church brothers and sisters live and in three dimensions!
More information to follow, but for now please mark September 12 on your calendar. Even if you haven’t been coming to church physically because of the pandemic, please consider joining us in person for this celebration of the church home we have in our beautiful (and renovated) buildings, and especially in the hearts and lives of one another.

The Church of the Good Shepherd is a small, multi-cultural, urban congregation housed in two remarkable historic buildings built by Elizabeth Colt. Worship comprises several weekly services in either English or Spanish. The church provides a range of services to families and individuals in the surrounding neighborhood, and its buildings are home to two other churches while providing meeting and event space for several other organizations.
We seek a Parish Administrator whose primary role will be to relieve the Rector of day-to-day responsibility for management of temporal aspects of the church. He or she will coordinate with engaged church members and members of our wider community to care for and make optimal use of church resources.
This is a part-time job averaging about 4 hours per day, 5 days per week for a total of 19 hours per week. Specific hours may change to accommodate the administrator’s needs and the needs of others. The Parish Administrator will work independently under the general supervision of the clergy. The wage range is $18-22/hour, depending on skills and experience. We reserve the right to split this position between two people in the event that one person is not able to fulfill all requirements of the position.
