NH residents who are struggling to pay their rent and utilities because of the impact of COVID, and who are at risk for homelessness or housing instability, may be eligible for assistance. The state's Community Action Partnership (CAP) agencies are accepting program applications for the NH Emergency Rental Assistance Program. Or, people can call 2-1-1 for assistance.

The Foster Youth to Independence (FYI) program assists young adults (18 – 24 years old), who formerly were in foster care, obtain a Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher. Property owners participating in this program receive a portion of the rent directly through the voucher program.
