FREE Social Media & Marketing Meetup
Friday, August 20th 8 a.m.
Salem Area Chamber of Commerce, 210 East State Street
This meetup is all about The Post — Social Media Posting with confidence. By request, we will spend time diving into the anatomy of good posting, including basic how to’s, best image and video practices, hashtags, tagging, linking and more.

Plus, we will review ways to find post inspiration, create content and schedule ahead – so you are posting like a pro. We will touch on the Hootsuite platform as an optional tool.

It is recommended that you bring a laptop, tablet or smart phone connected to your business page’s account – if possible.

Please send questions and posting details you would like to know more about prior to Meetup.

The Salem Area Chamber of Commerce will be sponsoring the 2021 Salem Quakerfest on Saturday, October 16th, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Join us for a day of fun-filled family activities. The Chamber invites your business or organization to participate by having a children's activity or special sale. Please contact the Chamber so we can promote your activity/sale on the Quakerfest event flyer.

Vendor spaces will be available throughout the downtown Salem business district. If you are interested in a vendor space, please complete and return the Vendor Form, Hold Harmless Form, and payment to the Chamber no later than Monday, October 11th.

DIABETES PREVENTION PROGRAM
A speaker at a recent Salem Area Safety Council meeting, Nicole Smith, Diabetes Program Consultant for the Ohio Department of Health is reaching out to see if businesses in the Salem area would be interested in implementing a Diabetes Prevention Program.
