Michael Burg Weighs In on the Battle
Against "Big Vape"
Burg Simpson founder Michael Burg recently wrote an op-ed for Bloomberg Law about corporate social responsibility and the ongoing vaping crisis. He said,
"Companies who continue to ignore their corporate social responsibility by manufacturing, marketing, and distributing vaping devices are likely to face lawsuits for promoting dangerous and addictive products to children."
Mike Burg believe that all companies should seek to embrace ethical responsibility, but until then enforceable legislation should be passed to hold them accountable for their actions on society and the environment.
“We are experiencing a time of growing public concern for human rights and the environment, and we all must take ownership of our social responsibilities. We have to become aware of the long term effects of what we do as individuals, as corporations, and countries, and be mindful of the impact we make on society and the planet. The practice of social responsibility must become integrated within each of us if it is to become an integrated part of our culture.”
CHANGING LIVES
BURG SIMPSON MATCHING FUNDS TO SUPPORT CRAIG HOSPITAL
When Tyler took a horrific fall on the Colorado slopes last spring, he sustained a spinal cord injury that left him paralyzed from the waist down. While his ongoing rehabilitation at Craig Hospital has been remarkable, Tyler still has a way to go.

To assist Tyler and other spinal cord injury patients at Craig Hospital with their recovery, Burg Simpson shareholders Peter Burg and Jake Burg spearheaded a community effort where Burg Simpson matched donations to Craig Hospital up to $10,000.
