CT Valley Chapter
and various spirits. A large raffle was held and several manufacturers and rep agencies sponsored tables. This was a well-attended event and the members can’t wait for the 2022 edition!

The CT Valley Chapter hosted a Wine and Spirit Tasting at The Back Nine Tavern at Stanley Golf Course in New Britain, CT. The funds raised will help support our Scholarship and Oil Heat Cares programs.

Long Island Chapter
At last month’s Long Island Chapter meeting, Tim Doran of Weil McLain gave an informative presentation on the basics of indirect water heater piping and pumping. The meeting had great attendance with 38 members and guests present. 

Luke Scally, Nick Strano and Tim Doran were raffle winners and Shane Pitta was the attendance winner. Special thanks to Mike Dwyer for the stellar photography and Kevin McClorey for running Chuck a Bucks!

Rhode Island Chapter
In November, the Rhode Island Chapter meeting was held at Chelo’s restaurant and the speaker was Joe Sacco of Riello. Sixteen members enjoyed a delicious dinner and had a great time. Thank you to Joe for an interesting and informative presentation.

Mid-Atlantic Chapter
At last month’s Mid-Atlantic Chapter meeting, the guest speaker was Brian Kiernan of Energy Kinetics. Brian gave an informative presentation about plate heat exchanges and discussed the Energy Kinetics System 2000. Thank you to Brian for the great training session. Attendees enjoyed the presentation and dinner. It was great to see Stan Hill and the Marshall brothers at the meeting.

Lehigh Valley Chapter
The Lehigh Valley Chapter’s November meeting was held at a new location, American Lobster in Wind Gap, PA. Members and several new technicians who came out for training enjoyed a presentation by Brain Kiernan of Energy Kinetics. Thank you to Brian for a great training session about plate heat exchangers and water treatment tips. Attendees enjoyed a delicious dinner and an informative training session.

New Haven Chapter
At November’s New Haven Chapter meeting, 18 members and guests attended to hear from guest speaker, Rick Pothier of EDOS. Thank you to Rick for the very informative presentation on the Resideo line of thermostats and zoning panels. As always, the food at Brazi’s Restaurant was exemplary.

Eastern Connecticut Chapter
The Eastern CT Chapter held its November chapter meeting at The Prime restaurant in Norwich, CT on the evening of November 16. The meeting was well attended with 17 members and guests who enjoyed a delicious dinner and a great presentation by Chris Sleeper and Dan Costa of Urell, Inc.

Chris and Dan discussed the entire line of Granby Oil Tanks which included review and installation practices of 12 gauge steel tanks, the 20PLUS, ECOGARD, ECOPLUS tank series, as well as FIBERGLASS, and 2 in 1 DOUBLE WALL's which they presented with a cut-away display. 

They concluded their presentation with questions and answers with a very engaged group of members and guests. We thank Chris and Dan for an excellent and informative evening.

Delaware Valley Chapter
At the Delaware Valley November meeting, held at Anthony’s at the Lamb in Springfield, PA, Ken White of Caleffi Hydronic Solutions gave a presentation to 15 members and guests. Ken covered the Caleffi Hydronic line of accessories and explained the importance of getting the metals and magnetic dirt out of older hydronic systems when converting to low mass boilers. Attendees enjoyed a delicious dinner and a great presentation!

New England Tri-State Chapter
The New England Tri-State Chapter held its November meeting at the Terrazza Ristorante in Greenfield, MA. John Dunleavey of Carlin/Hydrolevel was the guest speaker and gave a very informative presentation on the Carlin 70200 Primary Control and the Carlin CAP System. Attendees enjoyed a great dinner and presentation.  

The next chapter meeting will be on December 14, 2021 at Terrazza Ristorante at 6:30 p.m. and the guest speaker will be John Manning of R.W. Beckett.

Pocono Chapter
At the November Pocono Chapter meeting, Tim Porter from Advanced Fuel Solutions presented to a group of owners and technicians from local oil and service companies. Tim gave a timely and informative presentation about cold weather housekeeping tips and cold weather treatment to keep fuels flowing as temperatures drop. The 18 attendees enjoyed a delicious dinner and participated in a question and answer session.
