Summer Treats for Kids
Food Drive, June 20
Did you know the Food Basket gives out bags of treats for kids 10 and under? Help us bring a smile to these kids by donating individual treats.
  • Juice boxes or pouches
  • Single serving cups of gelatin, pudding or fruit.
  • Peanut butter or cheese filled crackers
  • Fruit roll-ups
These items usually come in multi-packs, and the Food Basket volunteers will divide them into individual servings.

Other needs currently are:
  • Fruit cocktail or mixed fruit
  • Canned meat with pastas

Please bring your donations to church by June 20, and place them in the big red buckets in the hallway.

Prayer for the Search Committee [BCP 818]
Almighty God, giver of every good gift: Look graciously on your Church, and so guide the minds of those who shall choose a rector for this parish, that we may receive a faithful pastor, who will care for your people and equip us for our ministries; through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.
Know Your Number: An Enneagram Workshop
Save the date for Know Your Number: An Enneagram Workshop led by The Rev. Bob Flick, Saturday June 26 from 9 am - 2 pm in the Parish Hall. You can register on-line or call the church office. Cost is $15 per person, and includes materials and a boxed lunch. Call the office if you need a scholarship to cover registration fees.
FAQ
Q: Will I need any course materials?
A: Our instructor will arrive with printed materials. Please register ahead of time, so we have enough handouts. If you would like to read about the enneagram, there are a number of books available. Our instructor recommends Richard Rohr’s The Enneagram: A Christian Perspective.

Q: Will I take a test during the workshop to learn my number?
Q: Should I take a test ahead of time?
A: In order to keep the class focused, we will not take an enneagram test during the course, and it is not necessary to take a test beforehand. There are a number of tests available on-line, and students may wish to use them after the course.
Nancy Elkins Memorial
Saturday, June 19
All are welcome to join the Elkins family for the memorial service in honor of Nancy Elkins. It will be at St. Timothy's on Saturday June 19, at 10:00 AM.
Do you have difficulty hearing in the sanctuary?
St. Timothy’s has two options for electronic assistance for those who may have difficulty hearing the services. We have a hearing loop, also called an induction loop, installed in the sanctuary. If you wear hearing aids that have a Telecoil or “T” setting, activate this setting to enable your hearing aids to receive a signal from the sound system.
Alternately, we have small receivers with over-the-ear speakers that receive a signal from the sound system. These are compatible with most “earbuds” that use a 1/8” jack, similar to cell phones, so you can use your own earbuds if you prefer. These receivers are available in the narthex for use during the service. Please return them to the narthex at the end of the service or leave them in the pew.
Hurricane Season is Here!

Now is the time to prepare for the 2021 Hurricane Season. As a coastal county, preparing for hurricane season is nothing new. You are encouraged to review your family’s emergency plans and be prepared for change due to coronavirus. Updating your plans will
help you better prepare for whatever the 2021 Hurricane Season brings.
Summer Reading for the Vestry: Dare to Lead by Brené Brown
What book is on the nightstands of our Vestry and Interim Rector this summer? Brené Brown's Dare to Lead: Brave Work. Tough Conversations. Whole Hearts.

Dr. Brown defines a leader as "anyone who takes responsibility for finding the potential in people and processes and has the courage to develop that potential." So, you're encouraged to read this book too!
Join the Mevo Video Ministry
St. Timothy's plans to continue offering on-line video worship as a part of our on-going ministry. This is to meet the needs of home-bound members and others who are unable to attend in person.

It is also crucial to our welcome ministry because people see us online before visiting in-person.

Please consider volunteering to help with our video streaming ministry. Training, software and equipment will be provided.

Direct any questions to Sondra Griner.
The Mevo camera app controls our Mevo video cameras.
