OVERVIEW:
Nightwork will occur over the next two weeks in the closed portion of South Frontage Road between College and Church Streets, but also on South Frontage Road between York and College Streets, and on portions of Congress Avenue, Washington Avenue, Olive Street, and Court Street.

This nighttime work will occur on weekdays only between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. and will result in single lane closures. This work -- the relining of sewage pipes --is being done by the Greater New Haven Water Pollution Control Authority. This work is not expected to produce noise louder than the sound of regular traffic.

Aside from the nighttime work described above, there will be no changes to the existing traffic pattern over the next two weeks. South Frontage Road will remain closed between College and Church Streets and single-lane closures will continue to occur throughout the project area.

  • Please see immediately below for more details on the single-lane closures.
