Our Survival Depends Upon Building A Culture of Life
✡︎ Shabbat Shalom & Good Day ✡︎

Our increasingly oppressive 'woke' environment threatens the life and livelihood of millions of people around the world. Recently, woke culture's obsession with racism even caused the abortion giant, Planned Parenthood, to acknowledge their founder's racist and eugenics past. Alice Lemos comments on Planned Parenthood's 'lip service no real change' reaction to their racist origins.
Planned Parenthood Gets Woke – But Not Enough

Despite public distancing, Planned Parenthood still continues Margaret Sanger’s work – killing children at a profit
The Conference of Jewish Affairs' New Jewish Exodus Project zoom meeting on April 11, 2021 presented a cross section of testimonials from Jews who chose to leave or have been asked to leave their shul over irreconcilable political differences. During the meeting, Rabbi Spero announced his exciting plans to build an online synagogue that promises to meet the needs of the approximately 30% of disenfranchised Jews. The organization Secular Pro-Life uses compelling non-religious arguments to change minds and hearts about abortion. We think their ideas suit outreach to agnostic and atheist Jewish abortion advocates. Learn how successful this approach is in this excellent report:

We continue to upload last year's Jewish Pro-Life Show audio tracks to our podcast platform. Episode 42, Jewish Abortion Advocates Endanger The Lives of Jews Everywhere, focuses on the challenges of educating Jewish abortion advocates. We share a dvar Torah on B'ha'a'lot'cha from Rabbi Ephraim Buchwald about educating Jews who have little understanding or knowledge about Judaism. Rabbi Buchwald explains that outreach efforts work best if teachers promote a process of slow, meaningful change and an appreciation of Judaism rather than a dramatic shift to orthodoxy. The educational efforts at the Jewish Pro-Life Foundation are an alternative Jewish educational resource that teaches respect for life in the womb, something that is missing from mainstream Jewish educational curriculum.

Dave Andrusko, editor of National Right to Life News,
shares his thoughts about a story entitled, 139 Babies are Killed in Abortions Every Minute Around the World. We Must End Abortion. The author ends his post by quoting Jeremiah 1:5.

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”
Each and every one of us is “set apart.”
None of us is a number.
None of is nameless in the eyes of God.

Selicot Prayers for Forgiveness of Abortion

Almighty God tasked the nation of Israel with the unique obligation of sanctifying and protecting human life, and for sharing this message with all of humanity. We've fallen far short of both objectives. Considered by many to be progressive and just, this modern day form of child sacrifice constitutes a sin against God and Creation. Continued practice in the face of overwhelming proof that innocent children perish calls for sincere appeals to HaShem for forgiveness of our transgressions and a return to the protection and love of God.
In the spirit of sincere repentance, we offer a prayer:

From Ezra, the Scribe: "My God, I am ashamed and confounded to lift my face to You, my God; for our iniquities have increased to above the head, and our guilt has grown to the heavens. But You are the God of forgiveness, gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abundant in kindness, and You did not forsake them."
Do not forsake us, our Father, and do not cast us off, our Creator, do not abandon us, our Molder, and do not make an end to us, as for our sins. God, our God, fulfill for us the work You promised us in the tradition through Jeremiah, Your seer, as it is said: "In those days, and at that time, says God, the iniquity of Israel will be sought for and it shall not be there, and the sins of Judah - and they shall not be found, for I will forgive those whom I leave to remain." Your people, and your heritage hunger for Your goodness, thirst for Your kindness, long for Your deliverance, may they recognize and know that mercy and forgiveness belong to God, our God.
