Let’s make this holiday special for kids affected by the water crisis. Join the Friends of Berston, FIM and Rich Kids inc in celebrating its first Drippie Toy Drive. Drippie the water mascot encourages everyone to donate a new, unwrapped toy at Berston field house now through November 27th Mon-Thur until 7 pm.

Join the Friends of Berston, FIM, and Rich Kids Inc for the Flint Christmas Celebration. This holiday light spectacular includes an interactive light park, tree lighting, a toy giveaway, and more. 

Enjoy a live concert with A Christmas Temptations revue featuring Bernard Gibson, and the Flint Holiday Choir, directed by Jeffrey LaValley and comprised of members of local choirs.

This event is free and open to the public.
The Year of Haydn: COVID Can't Stop the Music
Full Documentary Premiere

at The Capitol Theatre

This documentary film follows the journey of four young string musicians enrolled in the Flint School of Performing Arts, as they embrace a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity during the ongoing worldwide COVID pandemic. Housebound due to quarantine restrictions, they are privately tutored virtually by the Grammy-nominated DOVER QUARTET culminating in a combined concert piece premiered at the historic Capitol Theater in Flint, MI.
In anticipation of the Thanksgiving holiday, the FSPA Office will close at 5 pm on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. With the exception of Nutcracker rehearsals, no classes, lessons or ensembles will be held at the FSPA between Thursday, Nov. 25 – Sunday, 28, 2021. FSPA will resume our regular schedule on Monday, November 29.

I hope you had a blessed Thanksgiving Day. It’s always a busy and exciting week-end here at FIM. The much-celebrated Broadway tour of Fiddler on the Roof opens this evening at Whiting. The Flint Christmas Celebration is tomorrow. And, our building is buzzing with dancers in the final preparations for The Nutcracker. 
 
Please come out and join the celebration tomorrow at Berston Field House, 3300 Saginaw Street. The Christmas tree lighting is sure to brighten your Thanksgiving week-end and warm your heart for the start of the Christmas holiday.
