Dear Girl Scout Volunteer,
As referenced earlier this month, we know our girls are eager to begin planning or activate previously planned Girl Scout travel for the summer months and beyond. I am excited to share that we will move forward with reviewing applications for domestic travel beyond just Kansas & Missouri immediately for travel that begins on or after May 28, 2021.
As with all travel applications, these are reviewed and approved on a case by case basis and are not guaranteed. Additionally, Girl Scouts and their caregivers and volunteers should make extra efforts to understand and abide by COVID restrictions and guidance in the area(s) they visit.
If you have a current application pending, someone at GSKSMO will be in touch within the next 5-10 business days to discuss.
Please note, international travel for 2021 will not be approved.
We will continue to monitor and follow CDC and local health official guidance and will notify you if there are any changes to this COVID update.
