FINAL CHANCE TO REGISTER!
With less than two weeks to go, this is the final chance to register if you haven't already done so. The conference registration fee is vastly reduced compared to our previous face to face conferences, yet the quantity and quality of scientific content remains the same. Basically, it's a bargain!

Please click below for further information and to access the registration portal.
To view the wide variety of topics that will be presented and discussed this year please take a look at the Scientific Programme and start planning which sessions you would like to attend now.
Sponsorship opportunities are available that include complimentary delegate passes. Such passes will be issued separately. If your organisation is a sponsor of the conference (or plans to sponsor the conference) please check with your colleagues to see if you have access to a complimentary place before registering on the conference portal.
CONFERENCE PLATFORM SOON TO BE AVAILABLE TO DELEGATES
The Scientific Committee and MCI have been working very hard to make this virtual conference as easy to navigate and participate in as a face to face conference. On Monday 14th June all registered participants will receive an email with a link to the 2021 PSI Conference Platform, which will be your one stop shop for all things conference!

Once you have signed into the platform please create a profile to tell delegates a bit about yourself and try to include a nice picture of yourself if you can. If you would like other people to be able to view your profile and be viewable on the delegate list then please select the “opt in” option. You can then check out the conference planner, bookmark which sessions you want to attend, and register for any of the interactive sessions (see later in the Newsletter).

The platform will also offer you the chance to interact with other delegates and sponsors, visit virtual exhibition stands, set up meetings, view online on demand content, and browse the posters throughout the conference.

There will be a handy video on the home page of the platform which we suggest you watch as it will show you how to do all the things mentioned above!
SPOTLIGHT ON: Yoga with Sian
Please join us on the Tuesday and Wednesday morning of the conference as we get excited and energised for the day ahead with a 30-minute online yoga session with Sian from 8:00am BST.

Sian has been teaching yoga for over 3 years after 19 years travelling the world as a professional dancer. Yoga was her way to find balance and serenity in a very high paced industry. Teaching and practising yoga gives Sian just as much fulfilment as her career in dancing did.
Sian believes that just like dance, Yoga gives us the ability to become completely in tune with ourselves, no one and nothing else matters as we are able to clear our minds, create clarity and be completely present, no matter our age or ability. Her objective is to offer and obtain this in her classes.

All you will need for these sessions is comfy clothing, a space big enough to lie down and an open mind. We look forward to seeing you there, cameras are optional!
PROGRAMME HIGHLIGHT:
'IASCT Organised Session' & 'Canadian Statisticians and Collaborative Research: 2020 and Beyond'
What better way to celebrate a year of global virtual working than to listen to the 2 sessions for the 2021 Conference presented by colleagues that are a bit further overseas in India and Canada?
IASCT Organised Session - Tuesday 22nd June (9:00-10:30am)
The Indian Association for Statistics in Clinical Trials (IASCT) presents three talks in this session. One will be from Ayan Das Gupta and Velentine Jehl (Novartis) on the benefits of applying the Cumulative Incidence Function (CIF) to monitor the risks of special interest in long-term safety data of a drug. The other two talks from Pritam Gupta (Pfizer), Mahendra Bijarnia (Parexel) and Krupi Parmar (Parexel) will focus on topics specific to India that we can all learn from. We will get an excellent insight into statistical considerations for drug development in India and also an Indian Regulatory perspective on statistical assessment on New Drug applications.
Canadian Statisticians and Collaborative Research: 2020 and Beyond – Tuesday 22nd June (3:30-5:00pm)
Canadian statisticians from industry, academia, and health authorities will be sharing their perspectives on emerging topics in the area of estimands, the impact of Covid-19, and real-world data that they envision to play key roles in the coming years. They will discuss these topics with a view to understanding differences, finding common ground, and considering efficient ways forward for pharmaceutical research and utilisation of real-world data.

SPOTLIGHT ON: Promotional Videos
Has all the above not been enough to spark your interest and get you excited for conference? If you want to hear just a little bit more about some of the sessions, then please visit the PSI website where we have not one or two, but SEVEN promotional videos about different conference sessions which will be running.
This could even help you make the always tricky decision of which sessions you might want to attend, although as always, sessions will be available through the PSI on demand platform for delegates to watch at their leisure after the conference so you can catch up on any you missed.

A message from the Conference Chair...

As always there is a lot of last minute work going on behind the scenes to make this conference a great one to remember for all delegates. I can’t wait to hear all the excellent content we have lined up for this year and to catch up virtually. Less than 2 weeks to go!
