FOUNDATION FLASH

Monday, APRIL 1st - Saturday, APRIL 6th 2024

Please help alleviate "Diaper Need" by donating a box of diapers to those less fortunate!

Do you remember how expensive diapers were? "Diaper Need" is a serious problem for people living in poverty. A baby requires up to 12 diapers per day; toddlers about eight.

Sizes 2 - 6 are most needed

Starting April 1st, you can drop off your diaper donation at your neighborhood Diaper Diva who has volunteered to have a collection bin at their home.

Look for the pink and blue balloons in your neighborhood!

CHARITY

HIGHLIGHT

In 2023, a $15,000 grant from the Foundation funded the Super Kids Reading Camp. New Horizons’ four-week program for K-5 students at five sites in Lee and Collier Counties focuses on minimizing summer backslide particularly for students who speak English as a second language. Most students exceeded all outcomes for the program because of the individualized attention they received at camp.
