January 2022

A Message from the Executive Director

Hello,

Happy New Year!

We hope everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable winter break and is ready to take on a new semester. With the numerous challenges we all faced in 2021, many of us are looking forward to a fresh start in 2022.

Though the world is still fighting a pandemic, Pivot is grateful to know we can continue to educate and connect with our students whether we are in-person or online. We have proven time and time again that we can adapt to any situation and continue to see our students grow, learn, and thrive.

Pivot is excited to continue to offer many online resources, workshops, and teacher support so all of our students can get the education they need to reach their full potential. This newsletter showcases the accomplishments of one of our students who is pursuing their career goals with Pivot’s help.

We are also aware that many students across the nation are struggling with mental health concerns as they attempt to complete their studies each week. We have seen these difficulties firsthand and we encourage students to take advantage of the numerous classes, workshops, counseling sessions, and clubs Pivot offers — also outlined in this newsletter — so students can learn how to address and cope with our shared and individual challenges.

As always, our dedicated and wonderful Pivot team is ready to take on the new year with fresh ideas, can-do attitudes, and unwavering dedication to your students. Thank you for choosing to be part of the Pivot family and allowing us to invest in your students. We continued to excel in our academic accomplishments last year and we expect 2022 to be no different.

We hope you enter the new year with a renewed sense of optimism and we will continue to do what we do best: Help every student feel more capable, comfortable, and confident in their academic endeavors.

Sincerely,
