CTC Students And Staff - Please Help Us Recognize Developmental Disabilities Month this Monday, March 25th!

March is Developmental Disabilities Month, and we would like to designate Monday, March 25^th as our day to share and educate each other about developmental disabilities. This includes the disabilities that our CTC students live with, as well as other kinds of disabilities that our staff and students may be familiar with. We would like to start small and build each subsequent year.

On March 25th, we encourage staff and students to wear either CTC Apparel or the apparel of any other organization that serves people with disabilities. Here are some examples: Angelman Syndrome Foundation, Brain Injury Association, Rare Disease Foundation, Special Olympics, Cerebral Palsy Foundation, The Epilepsy Foundation, etc.

Feel free to wear t-shirts, scrubs, etc. to support your chosen organization, and let’s start the conversation! We can learn from each other! Next year, we hope to build on this awareness day and incorporate information sharing, fun activities and more! We encourage your suggestions to enhance next year’s event so please share, info@ctcacademy.org.

CTC ACADEMY GALA COMMITEE MEETING

Please join us on Wednesday, March 27th at 7pm for an evening CTC Academy Gala Meeting! All CTC parents are invited! This year marks the 30th Anniversary of CTC Academy's Gala and we are so proud of the work that our volunteer parent committee has been doing to make this the best event yet. Please join us to learn more about the event and ways that you can be involved. BEYOND GRADUATION PROJECT

Would you like to make social plans for your young adult outside of school? The Beyond Graduation project is coordinating get-togethers - for fun and education. 

Our most recent outing was a St. Patrick's Day dance - sponsored by Access for All of Fair Lawn. Everyone had a great time!
