Shooters...
Another great weekend at Scarborough Fish & Game and what a perfect way to spend Memorial Day weekend. The weather cooperated all weekend, the targets were a blast, and we even had some lunch.
NEWS
PUBLIC SPORTING CLAYS
As always, both courses will be up this Wednesday 10am - 4pm and next Sunday from 10am - 2pm. Come try them out again, and figure out why you missed targets during the event.
HERMON SKEET CLUB
If you're looking for something to do next weekend Hermon Skeet club is having a sporting clays shoot on Friday and Saturday. They are only a couple hours north of Scarborough and very much worth the drive.
RESULTS
The Main event was very shooter friendly, but was the harder of the two events, based on the scores. People seemed to really enjoy the targets. We had a three way tie between Mike Keene, Kevin Kennedy, and Frank DeLuca all with 95. Mike won by tie breaker...congratulations to all three!
Super sporting was technical but fun. Once again we had a three way tie between John Carbone, Mike Keene, and Kevin Kennedy, all with 97. John won by tie breaker...congratulations to all three! All results are out on ScoreChaser.
THANK YOU
We want to thank Lisa and Bill for registration and scoring. We want to thank Jim, Bill, Steve, Pam, Tom and Peyton for filling and stocking all those traps.
Well that wraps up the Maine State Warm Up, now, all eyes turn to the big one...the one we all wait for...the one for all the marbles...THE MAINE STATE SPORTING CLAYS CHAMPIONSHIPS. Make your plans now to join us June 26-29, to see who will be this year's champions. The shoot is already open on ScoreChaser (as some of you have figured out). The shoot email will go out next Monday, June 6, with all of the details.
Well, that's it...short and sweet. I hope to see you all at the range.
