Tower Hill Retreat Center
Urgent Reservation deadline:
June 6, 2022
Thanks to those of you who have responded so rapidly to our call for reservations for our annual meeting and dinner at the Tower Hill Retreat Center at 12173 Tower Hill Road in Sawyer—the same beautiful place we enjoyed the event last year.
xxxAs you know, our special guest and speaker for the evening will be Chris Thomas (photo above), retired head of elections for the State of Michigan. He served for 36 years as the Michigan director of elections under both Democratic and Republican administrations and is still active in efforts to assure election integrity. We guarantee: there’s no one—no one!—more qualified than Chris to speak on this critical issue.
xxxYou are welcome to bring guests and, as usual, beverages of your choice to enjoy and share.
xxxBecause the caterer needs to know how many to plan for and which entrée each person has chosen, we need your reservations and entrée choices by June 6. We know the timing is shorter than usual, and we apologize in advance for any inconvenience this causes. We can chalk it up to just another Covid-generated adjustment. But instead, let’s just celebrate: we’ll be seeing one another in person!
xxxPlease send your reservation and payment ($30 per person) without delay either (a) by check mailed to LWVBCC, P.O. Box 1032, Niles, MI 49120 or (b) by PayPal by clicking here (one click for each meal). 'And if you use PayPal, please send a separate email to lwvbcc@gmail.com indicating your choice of entree(s) if you have not already done so!
xxxEither way, please include the name of each person attending, and his/her choice of entrée:
chicken with cherry sauce or
roasted vegetables (vegetarian)
xxxIn addition, if a person has a nut allergy, please indicate that on your response.*
xxxWe hope you come. You won’t want to miss it: good food, good friends, and a mighty good time.
*Although the caterer’s kitchen is not nut-free, servings without additional nuts can be provided for those who let us know, in advance, that they are allergic to nuts.
